We are offering this charming flat for rent in Gérardmer, set in a small residential complex/chalet with lovely views, approximately 600 metres from the lakeside, with a floor area of 40 m² and accommodating up to 4 guests. This duplex flat comprises a lovely 20 m² living room, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, a beautiful, spacious chalet-style bedroom, a lounge opening onto the balcony, a shower room, and you can enjoy a garden of around 40 m² adjoining the property.

The accommodation is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A 20 m² living area with a double sofa bed, TV and dining area
- An open-plan, fully fitted kitchen including: electric kettle, large oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, induction hobs, illuminated extractor hood, fridge-freezer, storage cupboards…
- A separate toilet

Upstairs:
- A large bedroom with a queen-size bed (160×200)
- A bathroom with a walk-in shower, a large washbasin on a vanity unit with a lighted mirror

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: a high chair, a cot, an iron and ironing board, and various appliances for entertaining (fondue set, crêpe maker, etc.).

Outside:
- A 4 m² balcony (south-west facing) with furniture and a lovely view of the lake and green spaces
- A shared, unfenced green space facing south-west

The flat is ideally situated in Gérardmer on the ‘Xettes’ hillside, 300 metres from the town centre, in a very pleasant setting with views of the town, the lake and the mountains.

You’ll have easy access to all essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, a market, a bank with an ATM, etc.

There are plenty of places to visit (including the LIN VOSGES textile factory, about 400 metres from the accommodation; the Vosges confectionery factory; the small and large Tandon waterfalls; Lake Longmer/Retournemer; La Bresse; and more).

Events:
- Daffodil Festival on 1 April every other year
- Fantasy Film Festival every year at the end of January
- Numerous local and national sporting events (national canoeing/kayaking championships, triathlon in early September, etc.)
- Bikers’ festivals and gatherings, etc.

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the apartment’s private car park (which can accommodate three vehicles), and a garage is available for one vehicle (which can also be used to store bikes or scooters).

As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful:
- Nearest railway station: Épinal, 40 km away (43 mins by car)
- Nearest airport: EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, 110 km away (1 hour 45 minutes by car)
- Coach shuttle services from the station

- Charging of all types of electric vehicles is prohibited
- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please leave the property in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
