A lovely 2 bedroom gite in a great location in the Champagne countryside. It was perfect for us. Clean, well furnished, well equipped and warm and pet friendly. Highly recommended if you need to get away from it all.

Very nice property, very comfortable, no issues whatsoever. Enjoyed the quiet location with forest and vineyards and proximity to the region from Reims to Epernay. Hope the return. Merci.

Champagne country getaway

We had a great stay at this apartment in the country. It’s well situated between Reims and Épernay, near vineyards and forests. It was a great base from which to explore the region. The house is well appointed. When the coffee maker broke the host replaced it soon after being informed of the problem.

Beautiful home in the country

A tastefully decorated and furnished property in a small hamlet within easy reach of both Epernay and Reims. We had a lovely stay and the property had everything we needed. The village 2 minutes away, had take away food vans on the nights we were there which was convenient after a busy day out and about. I would definitely recommend.

Almost perfect

Great location to avoid fireworks, because my youngest Corgi is very afraid of those bangs in the place I live. Not too far (10 to 15 minutes drive) from some larger supermarkets. A bit annoying was the lack of communication after I mentioned that there were electricity and thus WiFi issues for almost a full day. Light and power went on and off for almost 3 hours on the 1st of January: not too good for my devices. No response on the given e-mail address and SMS on the telephone. Because of the remote location, I had no reception with my iPhone / provider, so I couldn't make a personal hot spot. No WiFI was no internet or communication via whatsapp, email, etc while a client was waiting for something I would send him. All of a sudden the internet worked half/half: unstable and slow. Still no communication. Never experienced this before. Nevertheless, the stay was good and can recommend it to other visitors. Nice forest surrounding and wild life (like foxes).

Country House

My wife and I stayed here with our little dog. House was very comfortable and clean. Great for walking,wine fields surrounding the property and village. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay!

Comfortable house in stunning area. Very clean and nicely decorated. Very good bed to sleep in & great furnishings throughout. Recently renovated with nice shower too. Garden a nice plus to have with your dog or children. Highly recommend and very nice hosts too.

Lovely weekend break

Beautifully appointed property in a pretty setting. We would love to come back (especially as strikes meant we were only able to stay one of our two nights). Highly recommend.

Great stay in champagne

Property was clean and perfectly situation for our travels around champagne. It had everything required and was lovely and cool in the humid June/July temperatures. Very dog friendly with a lovely small enclosed garage which our pug enjoyed running about in. Our host was accommodating and check in was easy. We had a lovely stay at Isabelle’s house and would definitely come back here in the future.

Outstanding lovely unit beauty location

The unit is situated in a quiet area. We didn’t have the full address so struggles to locate but the owner responded quickly and resolved. Excellent value for money. Linens and property was lovely and we enjoyed.

Too short a stopover

After a very warm welcome from our host we were amazed by the sympathetic restoration of this wonderful gite. Very comfortable seating and brilliant bed. We spent a day walking through the fascinating faux de verzy and its town. Highly recommended. This property and its wider area deserve a longer stay!

Brilliant house, fantastic location, lovely host

We were delighted when we arrived at this property, not only was it in a lovely quiet location, but it is immaculate. All mod cons available, well-equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and two good sized double bedrooms. We had two excellent nights sleep. Brilliant location, If you want to stay out of Epernay but would like to be close by, the self-proclaimed champagne capital was only a 15 minute car journey away. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely like to return and have a longer stay next time. Thank you Stephanie for a great short break.

Two bedrooms but 1 bed was not firm requiring us to use the other double bed. Long way from any major town for outing or dining. Could do with instructions on stove and radiators and slightly larger TV and Smart TV. Everything else was perfect.

Stilvolle wunderbare Unterkunft

Wir waren geplagt von den heißesten Tagen des Jahres und konnten uns dank der dicken Mauern des Gebäudes immer in unsere dennoch kühle Unterkunft zurückziehen. Darüber waren wir sehr froh. Die Wohnung ist perfekt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles sauber. Sie liegt in einem ruhigen und beschaulichen Ort am Waldrand. Unsere Vermieterin und die Nachbarschaft sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit., ebenso die Einwohner im Nachbarort. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen.

Champagneweekend

Prima huis met genoeg ruimte en rustig gelegen. Ideaal om Epernay en Reims en omgeving te bezoeken. We kwamen om champagnehuizen te bezoeken en om te koken. De keukenspullen zijn heel erg compleet. Fijn om een tuin te hebben. Die is wel pal naast het maison de forestiere gelegen waar op het moment dat wij er waren niet veel gebeurde. Aan de achterkant van de tuin is een woning. De bewoners kijken de tuin in. Alles was tip top in orde.Misschien wat duidelijke instructies geven over wat te doen met het afval.

Ideale plek op de Montagne de Reims

Heerlijk huis, behalve de bedden dan, die liggen niet lekker. Een beetje moeilijk te vinden. Ligt buiten Germaine, over het spoor, met de bocht naar rechts, daarna linksaf op de laatste afslag in Vauremont. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor champagne proeven in de kleine dorpen ten zuiden van Reims. Erg leuke wandelmogelijkheden.
