Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Ferienhaus und haben es wieder genossen. Das Besondere an dieser Wohnung ist unserer Meinung nach, dass man ausreichend Möglichkeiten zum Draußensitzen hat und eine schöne Aussicht hat. Außerdem liegt es in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten muss man ein paar Kilometer entfernt sein, in Gerolstein, aber das empfanden wir als kein Problem. Wir kannten Herrn und Frau Hermes vom letzten Mal als ausgezeichnete und fürsorgliche Gastgeber und Hostessen; Auch dieses Mal wurden wir darin bestätigt. Und die Vulkaneifel ist ein wunderschönes Wandergebiet.

We hebben genoten van onze vakantie in de Vulkaaneifel. Wat een prachtig gebied is dat! Er zijn heel wat wandelroutes uitgezet en elke route die we gelopen hebben, was zeer de moeite waard. Regelmatig hadden we een verrassend mooi uitzicht op de omgeving. Dat hadden we trouwens ook vanaf het terras voor ons appartement. Dankzij het mooie weer konden we ook 's avonds meestal nog een hele tijd buiten zitten en dan genoten we van dat uitzicht en ook van de weldadige rust om ons heen. Het appartement zelf voldeed ons prima en de gastheer en gastvrouw zijn toegankelijke mensen, die niets liever willen dan dat je het bij hen naar de zin hebt. Voor de boodschappen moet je naar Gerolstein, maar dat is 5 km rijden en dus goed te doen.
