"The complex had all the amenities you would want for your stay. Pools were very well maintained with lifeguards present. Security was also very good. The apartment itself had everything you would require for your stay."

"We had a fantastic stay at Villa Frene and wouldn't hesitate to return if we visit Paphos.We were in Cyprus for a family wedding but wanted somewhere quieter away from the all-inclusive atmosphere, and Villa Frene was the perfect choice. Set in a peaceful location, it offers plenty of privacy while still being within easy reach of Paphos.The hosts were wonderful, friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The villa is spacious, well-equipped and fully air-conditioned, with a Smart TV for relaxing evenings. Air conditioning is charged separately at 5 per day per bedroom or 10 per day for the lounge.A rental car is definitely recommended as the villa is in a more remote setting, making it much easier to reach shops, restaurants and local attractions. Taxis are available if you don't want to drive, although we found they could sometimes take a little while to arrive because of the villa's location.The resident cats were a real highlight and became part of our holiday. It's worth remembering it's their home, so if you have cat allergies or aren't a cat person, bear that in mind.Some furniture is beginning to show its age, but it didn't affect our stay. I also personally prefer having a safe for passports and valuables when travelling abroad. The villa doesn't have one, but that's simply a personal preference rather than a criticism.Overall, Villa Frene offers excellent value, lots of space and genuinely welcoming hosts. We'd happily stay here again."

"Overall a very nice hotel . Check in was excellent and we deffinately got the wow factor when got to the room and saw we must have been upgraded and was in a swim up room. Room was a good size and nice and clean nice to get a few free drinks in the fridge . Only downside to this was after first bottle of water you had to pay for any extras and Tea and coffee didn't get refilled . Nice to get a bathrobe and slippers . Bathroom looking a little tired now but Overall pleased with the room. We was half board . Food was good and excellent choice although its a big hotel there was always plenty of tables free . The only downside to this hotel is staff . Why are the majority of staff looking fed up.and no interest in the job or their customers? Customer service needs addressing. Would also be nice to have a bottle of water daily I room tea and coffee replenished and a Iron and ironing board ."

"Great staff. Breakfast spread is next level. Sushi has a LOT to be desired... Unless you like exclusively tuna and salmon. No kids about, so quiet. However not many trees on the property, pool area feels sterile. Life music played too loyalty to enjoy it."

"Staff were friendly, always smiling, informative and very welcoming. Rooms was very clean and private pool with jacuzzi feature was absolutely fantastic. There was a choice of restaurants and buffet had a wide selection of fresh, delicious variety of food to choose. Entertainment was great. Bus stop short distance to The Harbour. Complimentary room was offered and greatly appreciated for us to use before our transfer to the airport. Would visit again and all the family would highly recommend booking at this hotel. Amenities and staff superb!"

"Food amazing, really large portions far too much to eat, but good problem to have. Bar staff and housekeepers particularly friendly. Pool was tranquil and not too many people. Breakfast great selection. Location is further away from town harbour than some but if you want convenience but also somewhere to get away from bustle it’s perfect. 5 min walk to great waterpark which wasn’t that busy"
