Beautiful, large area (500 sq feet) perfect for the relaxing getaway. This is a ground floor suite with no steps! Private. Queen sized bed plus queen sized sleeper sofa with top of the line mattresses. 55 in television with Showtime. Small kitchenette area with sink, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig. Tastefully decorated. Back patio overlooking the woods. Large hot tub. This is the perfect place to unwind. Nearby attractions include the Covered Bridge Festival, Little Italy Festival, County Fairs, 20 minutes from Indiana State University, and 30 minutes from downtown Terre Haute. 30-45 minutes from Raccoon Lake State Recreation Area, Turkey Run State Park, or Shades State Park (Waveland) where there is a large variety of activities to partake in-- beautiful hiking trails, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, picnic areas, swimming, boating, and much more! An hour and a half from Indianapolis. Be our guest! For an additional charge, there's an upstairs unit available for larger parties. Not suitable for children.

Great cabin for a getaway

Everything about the cabin was wonderful. The hosts were great as well - communicative, kind, and welcoming without being even a tiny bit invasive. Highly recommend the property!

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to stay after hiking nearby State Parks. Great hot tub, comfy bed and beautiful scenery. Owner provided snacks and coffee. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was great! Would stay again. Private and had everything you could need. The owners were really kind. Awesome hot tub. Location is only a 30 or so minute drive from Turkey Run and Raccoon Lake State Park.

Way better than a hotel, private space, super clean

We have stayed with VRBO many times. This place is perfect for a couple or a small family. The owners are super cool and this place offer everything you need. Hot tub, TV, nice shower, bathroom, comfy beds, kitchenette with fridge freezer WiFi and cable, out away from towns but close to state parks. We loved our stay 5 ⭐️‘s all the way around.

Great little place

Property was clean and private. The owners were great and left us alone but also were available if we needed anything. The hot tub was sparkling clean and the massage chair was great. Internet was a little spotty but the TV had Dish Network.

Perfect Getaway

This was our 2nd stay at the Getaway as was just as memorable as the 1st. Tony and Lisa are amazing and have thought of everything! Privacy, comfy bed, massage chair and hot tub are of course the perks but the view and location to unwind and relax couldn't be better!

A delight!

Wonderfully private, clean as can be and overall a pleasant experience. We have family in the area and definitely would stay again, possibly taking advantage of the upstairs to invite other family to visit. The owners are lovely and accommodating, but not at all intrusive.
