Apartment was lovely, excellent location, a short walk to most places. It should have been perfect but for poor cleanliness. Hairs on bedding left for bed sofa, a large yellow stain on the sheet in main bedroom. Despite initial phone call (to report hairs and ask for clean bedding) we could not contact host by any means. We had travelled on an early morning flight with my 89 year old dad, despite allowing a check in a little earlier (40 minutes), no one met us, the key was left in the light fitting outside the apartment. All we wanted to do was rest before heading out to meet the rest of our party. We could not rest on dirty beds. Due to lack of communication and waiting hours I informed the host I would go and purchase new bedding from Morrisons (across the road) and toilet roll which we were also missing. We did and remade the beds ourselves. On leaving the apartment in the evening (about 7:30pm) we found a bag had been left outside the door with clean bedding. No one had even knocked. This was in complete contrast to my sister in law who had rented another apartment in the complex who was met (by her host) and had everything explained to her, her apartment was spotless. We gave the host the opportunity to reimburse us for the very reasonably priced bedding we purchased, they wouldn’t. One shower head was held up with a hair bobble and toilet bowls unclean (again reported) toothbrush holders were dirty. Needs a full sized ironing board and iron travel ones are insufficient.
