LAKE COTTAGE WITH DECK - 5 Star - 2 kayaks - 40 minutes to Columbia

  • Due to the setting it's best:
    -for only 1 or 2 people-sorry NOT for visitors, unless discussed -looking for lake
    -corporate stay in the area .
    -There is NO PLACE to DOCK a BOAT or PARK A TRAILER.
    - If you are renting a boat for a day, then check with the owners about a temporary dock
    .-snowbirds in transit or scoping the area

    This is a perfect place for a quiet get-a-away for 2 or wonderful alternative to a required hotel stay. The cottage was built totally by hand, by the owner, with trees cut from the property. It is designed for adults and there is nowhere for kids to play.
    -No fire pit or place to burn

    TWO KAYAKS are available to enjoy our large cove or to explore Shull Island.

    Accommodations: Den and kitchen with island on one floor. Downstairs 600 sq. ft. with a queen bed and sitting area. Sleeps 2- one queen bed downstairs.

    Three large windows overlooking the lake. We have all new appliances, including granite counter tops and 2 HD TVs with Dish Satellite.

    There is a deck off the lower level for enjoying the lake view and for kayak or swimming access.

    Off Season, 2 nights available if less than 2 weeks from arrival.

    If you stay a week and could leave the lake, it's two hours from Charleston, SC. Downtown Columbia is 35/40 minutes away and the zoo (30 minutes) The State Museum and Zoo are well worth the visit. Restaurants and many shopping choices are in Lexington which is an 18 minute drive. Many restaurants and grocery stores are an easy 10/15 minute drive from the guest house. Most renters prefer to shop prior to arrival.

    There is a deck off the lower level for enjoying the lake view and for kayak or swimming access.
