Chub Club annual trip 2024
Our group of 10 lifelong friends always plans a annual trip to kick back and relax. This house definitely fit the bill and the hosts were amazing!! We appreciate everything!

Unfortunately the tornado hit the cabin we were staying in and destroyed it. All of the family was safe without any major injuries. We only stayed one evening.

Kentucky Lake Cabin
The rental process and interaction with the owner was very easy. You can tell the owner really cares about the property and wants you to enjoy your stay. The cabin is a large 5 bedroom. There is a short walk to the dock. A well stocked convenience store is only a mile down the road. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice!
This was a very clean and well taken care of cabin on Kentucky Lake. We had a private dock to keep our rented pontoon. Tim was very nice and easy to get ahold of. We loved every minute of our stay.

Great log cabin!
This was a great property and beautiful log cabin. It was very clean and we enjoyed all the cool facts on the items around the home. For example, the story behind the coffee table or the stories in the aviation room. It had plenty of room for our family. We had brought plastic bowls, plates and utensils but didn’t use bc the kitchen was fully stocked. Kentucky lake was such a cool area to be around and plenty to do within 20 minutes of the home including hiking, marinas, parks, markets, mini golf, go carts, small zoo. Highly recommend for your family vacation!

Great house!
We really enjoyed the uniqueness of this log home. Special features included the basement "game room" area, the decks, and the screened sun room with hanging chairs. Our entire group was impressed with the accommodations. Thank you Tim for this opportunity!

Perfection
The place was perfect! Clean, well stocked, fun, and everything we had hoped for! We had 12 people in the house and we all fit. Tim was the most amazing cordial host I have ever experienced. He greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly, interesting and generous. If we go to Kentucky Lake again we know where we will stay!

Family Vacation
We had a great time at lake n logs. The host was close by if we needed anything. The cabin was very clean and spacious for eight adults, two toddlers and a baby. Absolutely beautiful! We wish we could have stayed longer.

KY Lake Paradise
What a great cabin! My friends and I just stayed at Lake 'N Logs for a long weekend of fishing and motorcycling. Tim's place is a slice of paradise! Very clean and well kept, with so many options for staying busy at night. We enjoyed the shuffleboard and fire pit. There is plenty of outside seating to enjoy the outdoor views that this property has in abundance! Gobs of parking too! Tim is a great host and communicates well so that you enjoy your stay. I can't recommend this rental enough - you won't be disappointed!

Relaxing getaway
Property is perfect for a relaxing getaway with enough space for 4 families. Host has games for adults and kids in the cabin, nicely stocked kitchen and the pots and pans were in nice condition too. Tim was there to welcome us and say good bye. Thank you Tim for making our stay pleasant.

Not quite what we thought
First off I can only be truthful when I speak on this issue. When my wife and i pulled into the property at first glance we thougt that we where going to be really excited and couldn't wait until the rest of the family got there. From the time we got to the front door where we were met with a spider and his web which had to be knocked down prior to entering the home. At that point of course made us stop and then look around. all of the outside lighting at all door entries have cobwebs hanging on them. The exterior wood haven't been cleaned treated in a very long time if it ever have. The grill area wasn't cleaned. Upon entering the cabin you could tell that this cabin had not been used. The owner made it seemed that this cabin is booked all of the time. It smelled very musty like to the point that my wife really wanted to leave. I didn't want to have to get into a big deal about a refund etc. we found some pine-sol and she wiped down the counter tops and other places. This did make the smell better. All in all we had a great time. the cabin's layout is great. My family said they that their beds slept well. Respectfully Kevin

Kevin, Sorry you did not have the experience you should have. I can address the exterior wood. It is now being completely cleaned and restained. All logs, decks, and cedar railings. It is a large job, and will take six weeks. As for the spiders, we clean them off almost daily. We are in the woods, they come back overnight. Not an impossible job, but we do try to keep up.

We loved the cabin

Space, space, and more space! Great getaway for family or friends!
Amazing home with plenty of space inside and out to entertain, relax or even get away. I would recommend to anyone. The trip to the water is a little steep but the dock and water access was all we needed. The countless square footage on the wrap around decks were amazing. Thank you Tim and we will be back!

Excellent Family Vacation
This property was perfect for our family vacation. Private cove was great for swimming, protected from thru traffic, & boating access to the lake was easy. Great Cabin and Location
The cabin was perfect for our family. There is a ton of room. It was in great shape and had an open floor plan on the main floor. The basement room has a bar and foosball table that we played on. Tim was an excellent host. He was always quick to answer my questions or get back to me. He even met me a couple weeks early to look at the property. It’s in a great location about 1.5 miles from Moors Resort and Cedar Hill Grocery.

perfect family reunion getaway
The cabin is perfect for large gatherings. Plenty of space to gather for meals, game night, etc. the kitchen set up allowed for meal prep and socializing at the same time. Bedrooms were comfortable with individual AC units upstairs to ensure comfort even with the beautiful vaulted ceilings. There was plenty of room to spread out too. The walk down to the lake was a little long but worth it for the quiet cove good for swimming right off the dock.

The title says it all, our group loved this property. The interior pictures on the web don't do it justice. Pros: 1. Tim is a great guy and huge help. He'll bend over backwards to help make sure your stay is great. 2. House is very wide open and great for group gatherings for meals, games, etc 3. Kitchen is well appointed (nice cooking utensils, pots, pans). 4. Bedrooms are comfortable with great mattresses (why we quit staying at the last place) 5. Screened in porch was a hit with the kids 6. Lots of lake toys (kayaks, paddle boat, etc) Cons: Somewhat of a trek to get from the house to the dock including steep stairs. Would not be good for guests with difficulty walking / balance. Highly recommend it

Excellent Spot for a Guy's Trip
Everything was as described. Communication with the owner, Tim, was easy and very thorough—complete with packet. There were only four guys in the place, so we had lots of room to spread out. Lake water level was way down, so couldn't use the dock for a boat rental. Moor's Marina—right down the road—was great for daily rentals. The only oddity about the place was the lack of bathroom towels. Tim explained that they had serious vandalism and theft problems with towels and discontinued providing them. Never heard of such a thing with a VRBO property, but we brought some as directed. That said, I still gave it a 5 star rating because everything else was excellent. We would have enjoyed a TV in the living area as we barbecued off the front deck each night and wanted to watch baseball playoffs. Had to either go into master bedroom or downstairs to the recreation room for viewing. Not a big deal, but again—just a little odd for guys looking to barbecue, enjoy a cocktail, and watch a ballgame at the same time. Highly recommend the place and all Kentucky Lake has to offer!

Super place to stay!
Tim’s home is a wonderful place to stay. The kitchen was very well stocked and the appliances looked to be new. Everything was clean and worked. We loved the pictures and knick knacks with the descriptions with them. Beds were really comfortable and the master bedroom is awesome . You’ll be amazed when you walk in to the great room. Back home again!
We have rented this awesome home on Ky. Lake for 12-13 years during Quilt Week in Paducah. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and room to quilt in the evenings. We have machines set up on the dining room table and all kind of foods covering the island. We stay for 4 nights and and drive in to Paducah for the show. It is a 40 minute drive but the comfort and quiet of the area make up for the drive. Fishing is good and we cook whenever we want to. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a quiet and relaxing time!

Beautiful log cabin home!!!
This is the place to go if you are looking for a quiet serene location to relax and get rid of all your stress. Eleven of us guys went on a 5-day golf outing and could not have wished for a more ideal setting. The home was furnished with everything we needed and more. Upon arrival we found an impeccably clean home that immediately made us feel welcome. The log home was as described in the HomeAway description but did not do it justice. The owners have furnished it with many family pictures and historical items that made us feel like we were actually in our own homes. We also had the good fortune of meeting Tim Lewis (the owner) and he is one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. Cannot say one bad thing about our stay because there weren't any. We will be back!!!

Beautiful home!
The home was gorgeous with a wood smell from the logs. Large kitchen and perfect porch for cornhole. Plenty of room for games, people and food. The upstairs air conditioner is getting fixed as that was a bit warm in the two upstairs bedrooms in the dead of summer. Perfect otherwise!

The Lake-n-Logs was a very nice and open place for our family gathering. We rented it with Cabin on the Cove and had a great time. Tim was so nice and helpful. Very nice property.
