"My family had a wonderful time staying in this clean, comfortable property! Take the time to visit Auger Falls on the way to Speculator and be prepared to take a dip in a pool to cool off. Be aware that the cottage is off the beaten track, so if you forget something, the nearest store is about twenty minutes away. We loved the gazebo and fire pit. The beds were phenomenally comfortable and everything was new. Loved it."

"Love love love the home and most importantly the peace that came with the property, you can feel the stress and pressure just release as you listen to the river flow on by. I didn’t think my husband was ever going to leave the front porch unless it was an attempt to fish lol The home is amazing with everything you could imagine available (extremely clean and host was great)we loved the games and hidden gems to enjoy never a dull moment and if outside adventure you crave there is just too much to do from hiking to water adventures please trust me I don’t do many reviews and was highly afraid to rent due to the horror stories that are out there. WOW so happy we did this and will definitely go back can’t say thank you enough memories of a lifetime! Ps: cell services is spotty in the Adirondacks but the home has amazing WiFi and TVs with excellent service if you are afraid of not being connected we choose to unplug and this is the perfect place to escape the rat race!"

"This house was great for us. Plenty of room for a family of 5. The kitchen is equipped with essentials for fixing meals. The house was very clean and comfortable. Being able to bring our dog was definitely a plus. The screened porch is perfect for bug free living with a view of the lake. There is also a nice deck with a table for sitting outside. Easy access to the lake down some stairs. We were able to use the provided Kayaks for exploring. Deb and mark were great hosts. They were available if needed."

"Our stay here was amazing! Our hosts Bonnie and Steve were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The cabin is beautiful, spacious, and very well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning!"

"A wonderful family vacation place! We found the house to be as-advertised, large enough for the 12 of us, including 3 small kids. The big upstairs deck feels like a beautiful tree-house in the large surrounding oaks that rise up from the river bank - a perfect place to sit with family at any time of day or night and enjoy nature. There is quite a bit of boat traffic on the river on the weekend, but it was still very nice for swimming off the dock. The host was very competent and responded quickly the one or two times that we did have questions. The beds were all quite comfortable. Overall, we really liked the place quite a lot and created some indelible good memories!"
