"I do a lot of traveling solo and this property was very nice. The rooms are huge and they all have a patio or balcony and very large smart TV's. I don't know when it was renovated but it has to have been fairly recently. Everything was in very good condition. The property has a VERY large hot tub and an indoor/outdoor pool. It also has a big arcade for kids. Looked like fun. Staff was very accomodating as I had some questions about 'where to go next'. I recommend this property for families as well as couples or solo travelers. Would stay there again if in the area."

"5 stars just isn’t enough for the boat house! the place is exactly as pictured…but even cuter. with an absolutely beautiful & unobstructed view of the lake, the boathouse had plenty of room for 2 adults & our puppy. the place is very thoughtfully renovated and furnished. I do want to highlight some things that really stood out to us- the boathouse is a very short distance from the boat launch, making it super easy to launch and then dock up at the property. The 10min drive to downtown Minocqua is beautiful, but we preferred to spend time at the bars in downtown Lake Tomahawk, just a few minutes away. The bathroom lighting is great. We didn’t see a single bug inside for the 4 days we were there. There are plenty of wall outlets. Great water pressure and hot water. Between the 2 fans provided and the AC unit, we had no issues keeping the place cool during the moderately warm August days. There is a large parking area at the top of the hill- easy and convenient to keep the boat trailer. Lots of space for a dog to run and explore. And as a bonus- the dock is a pretty great place to get engaged!! Thank you Woodhill Resorts, we will be back!!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had never visited the area before, so we were looking for a relaxing lake vacation spot that was close to everything. This spot was perfect, the lake is very peaceful and quiet. It’s a beautiful, wooded area with lots of nature to see (bald eagles, loons, deer, wild turkeys and more). The home was clean and has its own boat dock with nearby fire pit, which we found useful during our stay. The home is well equipped, but in the hotter summer months some form of AC would definitely be beneficial as it does get a little warm. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental and this area for your quiet, peaceful lake vacation!"

"This was the perfect little cabin for what we needed. It was clean, well stocked with necessities, had a nice view of the lake, and centrally located to all the area that we wanted to explore. The cabins were very close to each other. Luckily our two closest cabins weren’t occupied so that wasn’t an issue. There was a pier with benches for the guests to share which we utilized frequently. We didn’t swim as this is more of a fishing lake as opposed to a clear swimming lake. So if you don’t mind tight quarters, this is a good choice in a two bedroom cabin."

"Had a nice stay, house was clean and had plenty of fans to keep us cool. Only issue was knowing where to park as area is an open lot around a few cabins with a driveway to cabin below. Area for parking is not clearly marked."
