"In the middle of a neighborhood so we were a little concerned at first but its a beautiful property right on the lake with docks, a deck, and a boat landing. We had a lake view with a mini balcony, the room was very clean and not too old looking, and the bathroom was good for what we needed it for. Check in and out was easy."

"Everything about the hotel was in line with expectations. The only real complaint was that the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Otherwise friendly staff, nice little pool and a good place for an overnight stay."

"We only stayed for one night. The jets in the whirlpool didn't work. The outside door to the building wouldn't open with your key card. The soda machine took our money, gave us change, but the bottle didn't come out. But we got refunded from the front desk and a bottle of water. Otherwise everything seemed fine. The bed was great, so that makes up for some of the other issues. The staff was really helpful and polite."

"The cabin space was perfect. Plenty of room and the bar area downstairs was nice for hanging out and not disturbing people sleeping upstairs. The outdoor deck and fire pit were great for relaxing. Overall the place was perfect other than the lake. The lake was weedy, mucky and dirty. This may or may not have been because the water was so low but we couldn’t even go in the water. There is a great beach area about 3 miles away that we did go to and it was very nice but a bit disappointing that we couldn’t swim, tube or boat in the lake. Other than that I would have given 5 stars, the cabin, the property and the owners were wonderful and overall we had a great weekend. I would highly recommend this place if swimming is not your main goal."

"The lodge was beautifully furnished and had everything we could want. The main living space was a bit small for our group but we easily managed. Martha and Dennis were terrific hosts and always willing to help with any issues. I highly recommend this location. Be sure to rent the boat along with your stay. The fishing was out of this world!!"
