Staff were very cheerful and offer a restaurant as well. Great advice on walks and places of interest. Lots of natural flora and fauna and native animals
Truly lovely lodge with lovely hosts. The garden is absolutely beautiful (with lots of wildlife) and the lodge feels so homely.
I loved that the lodge also had some personality and reminded me of holidays with my family when I was younger - I absolutely loved the more retro decor! The room was also clean and had everything you could need. Would absolutely stay again!

Good food and service in restaurant
The property was clean and comfortable but the restaurant was excellent. Do yourself a favour and have lunch or dinner in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and service amazing
Lovely peaceful place to stay away from it all.
Lots of space to sit back and forget about everything.
If you get the chance - definitely eat in the restaurant as the food is lovely.
Would highly recommend.
Fantastic area to stop by, very quiet, with view on the river.
There was a power outage that lasted for 2 hours hence why I only put 3 stars for the service but apart from that great place to stay!
Not only would we stay again, we’d stay longer. The lodge is in a beautiful setting, so it’s perfect for the nature-lover. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable.
Was a great place and location for an overnight stay after spending the day exploring the Coastal Walks around Mallacoota. The Owners were very friendly and welcoming. The Room was clean and tidy. The location was peaceful and quiet. I also enjoyed a nice meal at the onsite Lodge Restaurant. Really enjoyed my stay.
Beautiful surroundings. Room with a view of the garden and river, just lovely.
Dinner at the restaurant of local produce and regional wines- delicious!
We return almost every year to Gipsy Point lodge and always feel it is a special place. A. short diversion from the Princes Highway is not to be missed.

It's a shame the Cafe just opens at 10:00, when you do have to leave before that. Otherwise great location.
Somewhat dated lodge close to the river. Excellent restaurant but a little on the expensive side. Staff friendly. Rooms have a lovely outlook to the grounds. Went on a nearby walk that was a little underwhelming.

Lovely, kind hosts, beautiful serene area. Huge room with a beautiful outlook. Heating & electric blanket - which we needed! The restaurant was opened especially for us (we were the only ones there as it was mid winter) & we had the best steaks we’ve ever had). Very comfy bed. Highly recommend this beautiful serene place.

The room was adequate, though it felt like time had stopped in the 1980s. The furniture was dark and not very inviting, and the carpeted floor gave a somewhat worn impression. The shower was ok, and the Wi-Fi worked surprisingly well for such a remote location.
The rooms are poorly insulated, but the heating function of the air conditioning quickly warmed the space to a comfortable temperature on cold September nights. During our stay, the hotel appeared to be managed mostly remotely, with staff only on-site for limited hours. The much-praised restaurant was unfortunately closed, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, there are some lovely walking trails nearby, and Mallacoota is about a 30-minute drive away.
