Great location, easy self check-in after hours, quiet, clean and tidy room, good check out time. We checked in late due to flight, code was emailed few hours prior to arrival, easy to check in via machine in reception. No problems. Great hotel for a city break.

Not the best
I didn’t really care for the hotel. It felt more like a college dorm than a hotel. I had a hard time breathing because the cleaning products they use is overpowering, probably toxic. The location is pretty close to everything and the guy at the front desk was nice and helpful. The front desk is only open from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Cheap and cheerful handy for everything
This accommodation was perfect for a few days in Girona, just a short walk from the bus/train station it was easy to transfer from the airport. Girona old town is just a short walk away and handy for the shops. A lovely wee coffee shop 365 just round the corner for breakfast. A lovely couple of days. Cheap and cheerful, nothing fancy but just what we wanted

Clean, cool and convenient.
Just like the title says, it was clean, cool and convenient ... also comfortable. The check-in is a little funky, but I guess if you follow the instructions you'll be fine. Parking is in the underground garage across the street (Santa Caterina). The walk into different parts of town is not far at all.

Compact & updated rooms
Really nice hotel, great location. Compact & updated rooms. Had everything you need, including a desk area. Only complaint was the hotel was very cold. I think they hadn’t turned the heat on yet.

Nice & modern, great location
This hotel is really nice and centrally located. I stayed in 2 rooms during this stay because my first room was booked when I extended. Both were very nice and very comfortable with fluffy white comforters. My first room was a “premium room” and more modern with a glass shower door. My second room was a “basic” and the bathroom had a shower curtain but it was also a larger room. Both were great. Aside from the first room having a mire modern look, there wasn’t much difference in comfort and you could argue the basic room was larger. One complaint was that the hotel was freezing cold. I think they hadn’t turned the heat on yet. I had to wear a sweatshirt to sleep.

The single room is small but cozy. Has an opening window and room temperature control system. The breakfast is actually in the cafe near the hotel. The soundproofing is nonexistent - you can hear your neighbors like they are in your room.

well, you get what you pay for but it did not look fresh and clean. Also I had no luggage; with suitcase I would not be able to fit into the room. But the price was extremely low so really I should not be complaining.

Nice hotel but not reduced mobility equipped
Very central and great staff. Only not very reduced mobility friendly as need to go up a flight of stairs to get the lift which is not on ground floor by reception area. Also, no handlebar in bath for elderly or reduced mobility people. Nothing to hold on to to avoid slipping and injuring themselves in bathtub. Other than that I had a spacious room and friendly staff members. Bus stop next door around 60m away

Great value
Gerona is an interesting and attractive city with many historical streets and buildings, good shops and plenty of good restaurants. It has a welcoming feel and friendly people. I would happily have stayed longer than the two nights I booked at the Hotel Condal. The location of the hotel is excellent both for visiting Gerona itself and for the wonderful train station and service for visiting the Dalí foundation in Figueres for example. The hotel is very well presented, spotlessly clean and the reception and cleaning staff efficient and friendly. The hotel is functional and sensible rather than elaborate. As such it offers excellent value for money and provided me with a comfortable, quiet and calm base from which to explore Gerona and its surroundings.

Good-value and central place to stop in Girona
A one-night stop en route from Malaga to Paris, Girona is well worth a visit. The hotel is very central, and my single room was very good value, clean and tidy. I would stay here again.
