"Our stay at the Chateau was wonderful. We were warmly greeted, given a tour and as hungry travelers in on a Sunday afternoon, given a beautiful cheese plate with warm bread and wine to enjoy in the garden. The chateau itself is beautiful, the grounds are sprawling, surrounded by vineyards, with huge walnut trees all over providing shade, plenty of patios to tuck into and read, a large and clean pool. The room we stayed in was huge and very well decorated, with easily the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Everything was perfection, peaceful, and warm. We did dinner a couple nights at the nearby de la maison d’estournal, and while that may be a 5 star hotel, the warmth and care put into our stay at Château Ormes de Pez was incredibly special and easily a highlight to the trip. We can't wait to return."

"Maison très bien équipée dans un environnement calme. Jardin, préau et piscine très agréables !!!Plusieurs commerces dans le village.De nombreuses activités dans les environs (entre 30 et 50 minutes du logement) qui ont ravi nos enfants de 5 et 7 ans."

"Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem wunderschönen, großen Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Alle Räume (Wohn-/Essbereich mit Küche, 3 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten, 1 Schlafzimmer mit 3 Einzelbetten, 2 Bäder, 2 WC, 1 Hauswirtschaftsraum) befinden sich auf einer Ebene. Die Matratzen waren gut und die Bettwäsche sehr angenehm. Im Außenbereich gibt es eine teils überdachte Terrasse. Das Grundstück ist riesig, teils noch etwas kahl, aber Bäume und Büsche wurden bereits gepflanzt. Der Pool ist groß und äußerst gepflegt. Er wird regelmäßig gesäubert und die Wasserqualität kontrolliert. Es gibt eine Außendusche und ein weiteres WC in Poolnähe. Neben dem Pool steht ein Baum, der etwas Schatten spendet. Ein paar Sonnenschirme wären bei Hitze wünschenswert. Restaurants oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es nicht fußläufig, aber wenige Kilometer entfernt. Durch den Eigentümer wurden uns mehrere Restaurants empfohlen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer verlief problemlos und war sehr angenehm. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Einzig die nächtlichen Störungen durch einen häufig bellenden Hund auf einem der Nachbargrundstücke haben den Genuss ein klein wenig geschmälert. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!"

"Excellent séjour de 3 jours. Malgré la chaleur, apéritif et dîner pris à l'ombre, dans le jardin, sous le vol des hirondelles puis des chauves-souris. Malgré la chaleur, nuits agréables en laissant les fenêtres ouvertes ( maison traversante). Bref, une agréable maison et des alentours intéressants (ermitage St Martial , Talmont, ...). On reviendra.Antoine de Bordeaux. Juillet 2026"
