Meget fin service på Gjern Hotel

Det er en dejlig oplevelse at overnatte på Gjern Hotel. Værtsparret Lona og Jens gør alt for, at man befinder sig godt på hotellet. Stor ros til dem og deres øvrige personale.

Meget skuffende især hvad angår morgenmaden, som blev sat på fad i køleskabet kl. 22:00 aftenen før. Ligeledes brødet der blev sat samtidigt i en kurv, hvor det knapt nok var dækket helt til. Det viste sig, at det var beregnet til yderligere 2 andre par. Køkkenet lå lige ud for værelserne. Man kunne derfor risikere i værste tilfælde, at pålægget kom ind og ud af køleskabet flere gange, samtidig med at hvert par kunne blive vækket, alt efter hvornår morgenmaden blev indtaget. Te og kaffe foregik med brev og frysetørret kaffe. Vi kiggede længselfuldt over på bageren, der lå lige overfor. Der var rent på værelset, men ingen papirkurv til affald og en enkelt toiletrulle. Værelset lå lige ud til trafikeret vej. Fik at vide, der ikke var nogen til stede før ved middagstid næste dag. Hvad så hvis der var brug for hjælp??? Vi har måske været naive, havde troet det var et hotel, men kunne lige så godt være B&B eller hostel
