"Everything was clean and orderly. The room was smaller than a hotel room. More like a bedroom. The bed was very soft which for me was very uncomfortable. I had trouble turning on the television. After doing some troubleshooting I called the front desk and got voicemail. It said the pool and hot tub were closed due to construction. It also said they would call me back. They called an hour later and came up immediately. She got the tv on. After she left I still couldn’t get the remote to work and finally figured out that it was set up for voice commands and most of the buttons were useless. Anyway, while I was walking down a hallway I saw the pool and noticed people swimming. It was evening the day before I checked out so I didn’t get to use the pool. I was able to relax, though so I did accomplish what I went for."
"A convenient location in a very friendly community. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was overall clean but has a slightly unpleasant smell that air refresher couldn't cover. Breakfast can use a little more varieties."
Quaint Year Round Cabin with Access to Lake Minnewawa.
10/10 Excellent
"This place has everything you could ever need. Jeff and Janet are wonderful hosts! House is very clean, the location is quiet and relaxing. Use of the pontoon was a definite hit with our family (including the dog). The lake was beautiful, and not busy at all (we stayed M-F) which was great since we were there to fish. Jeff and Janet certainly make sure you have everything you need and that you are comfortable. Wonderful stay!"
"We were very happy with this cabin. It was perfect for our family of 12 and 2 dogs. Jon was great with communication and had quick answers for all my questions. Kitchen was fantastic and had ample seating for all of us. There were also lots of sitting areas, our favorite was the screened in porch. Steve the care taker was a friendly and kind man and helped us with a few simple needs. We will definitely consider this cabin again in the future."
"Great space and view! Perfect for the Navy Reunion we had! Tom is so easy to work with and communicate with! There were 7 of us staying there and there was plenty of room for many more to stay!! Would definately use this space again! Real gold mine!"
Big Sandy Lodge and Resort Lakefront Lodge - spacious-luxurious
10/10 Excellent
"This was our 4th year renting Villa 9 for our family vacation, We have always had an enjoyable time. The kitchen is well stocked with glasses and plates utensils and serving dishes. The beds are very comfortable. The grandchildren enjoy the large selection of games and puzzles available. our only complaint is with the resort amenities. This year the pool and entire rec area was unavailable and under repair. Two other years the whirlpool and sauna were not working the week we were there. New resort owners have improved the restaurant on site and we were pleased with the food we were served when we ate there."
Private - 7 bed 3 bath Lake Cabin +Hot Tub +Dock +2 Pedal Boats +2 canoes +Sauna
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great option for our long weekend with family, age 3 to 65. Plenty of great common areas to gather - great room upstairs, finished basement, big deck, fire pit. We appreciated two kitchens, particularly the two refrigerators, for all the food and drink we brought. We enjoyed the picturesque little lake with no motorized craft, had fun exploring the Kettle River via canoe. Great communication, easy check in, plenty of sleeping space for our group of 10. We recommend it!"
