"Peter the property owner met us at the door and was very polite. The apartment was upstairs but very easy access and was very beautiful. "

"We had the most amazing stay here! The view was beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, and the house was equipped with everything we could ever need. Peter was a gracious host, he surprised us with welcome treats and very responsive with any questions we had. There were quite a few stairs to get the home, but don’t let it deter you. "Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft in Fischbach war super angenehm. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und modern. Die Küche mehr als ausreichend bestückt mit Backofen, Herd, Mikrowelle Kaffeemaschine etc…das Bett echt bequem. Wir waren wirklich positiv überrascht. Check in und out ohne Probleme. Die Kommunikation war ebenso unproblematisch. Parken direkt vor dem Haus. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich und freuen uns schon auf ein wiederkehren :) "

"Ganz neue, sehr moderne und super saubere Wohnung in ruhiger Lage. Das Einchecken mit der Schlüsselbox haben wir sehr geschätzt, so konnten wir auch spät Abends noch anreisen. Auch das Auschecken bis 11 Uhr ist wirklich angenehm.Wir haben die Grösse der Wohnung und die umfassende Ausstattung genossen und uns mega gefreut, dass wir unseren Hund mitbringen durften!Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und alle unsere Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet."

"im großen und ganzen für zwei personen ok,,aber mehr nicht ist eh kein platz am tisch.. küche war ein reinfall,, der herd hat geräuchert wenn die backröhre an war und braten ging garnich weil die abzugshaube nicht da war,,nix da,,tcha waschmittel waschmaschine alle,,waschgeschirrstender keiner da usw.also sehr viele sachen wenn man zweimal hinschaut,,untern caport ein verwester toter fuchs,,liegt bestimmt schon zwei wochen da,,da sieht man das mache vermieter,, nicht richtig ihr grundstück...

Great Property…Killer view!

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."

"We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. We found everything we needed in the apartment, which is very big and cozy and the landscape is amazing. The place is beautiful, so peaceful, not so far from the lake and the shops are also in the nearby. Ursula and Gerd, the owners, are very kind and friendly. We would love to go back to this apartment for our next holiday! We want to thank Ursula and Gerd for their kindness!"

"Great location, spacious room, comfortable beds, very nice restaurant on premises, and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Overall a very pleasant experience. Important - if you're driving, the am Frucktmarkt address will only get you close due to pedestrian only zones. There is a parking garage in back (with a different address) that has direct access to the hotel - call ahead and get that street address and save yourself a walk."
