The check-in was simple and easy, and communication with the host was flawless. He even provided a parking spot behind the apartment, upon request. We also brought our dog, who was also welcome. There is a small park about a 10 minute walk away for kids. Just to note (as I must have missed it in the listing)...

The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent...

"Pros: Supernette Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll ausgestattet zum Wohlfühlen, Küche vollständig -es fehlte an nichts. Direkte Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie z.B. Bäcker, Metzger - nur kurze Wege dorthin. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten z.B. Dom, Elbe, Burg .....etc. alles prima zu Fuß zu erreichen. Cons: Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden."

"Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage dort. Wir sind als Paar mit 2 Hunden angereist. Zwei kleine Abstriche mussten wir in Bezug auf unsere beiden Hunde leider hinnehmen. Zum einen ist das Grundstück nicht komplett „ausbruchssicher“ eingezäunt, weil das Hoftor fehlte. Zum Anderen die steile gebogene Treppe, die den Eingangsbereich mit dem Wohnbereich im ersten Stock verbindet. Hier würde sich eine Sicherung anbieten, welche verhindert das Vierbeiner oder Kleinkinder unbeabsichtigt die Treppe...

"The staff were spectacular -very helpful and kind. Room was clean, and modern. Lobby was nice. Easy walk to town and train station with a small grocery store at the other end of the parking lot. Shower was not easy to climb into and wouldn’t work for tall people. Also, the temperature control was confusing and didn’t seem to change the temperature no matter how we changed it. Still- I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it."

"I arrived at 6pm and the hotel was closed. I rang the bell and fortunately someone replied on the intercom. My key was in a loxk box next to the door and I was given the pin to open it. I was told to arrive before 8, not 6. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from downtown. "
