We had a wonderful two nights at the Caribou Cottage. It’s secluded and rustic, but also comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed some of the on-site activities (horseback ride and clays), and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a little break from the ordinary!I recommend bringing a couple of flashlights. The power is solar/battery, and it did run out on us a couple of times. Luckily we happened to bring some reading lights, so it wasn’t a big problem. (The heat is separate and worked well throughout.) Also, all-wheel or four-wheel drive is a smart idea here! The drive to the cabin is a (beautiful) 2-mile dirt road up the mountain.
