Epic log house in nature with lots of bedrooms and ample fridges/ovens/microwaves/dishwasher/plates. Very responsive coordination for planning and checkin. Very lodgy cozy feels with plenty of spots to hangout. Would rent again!!!
The property’s main room looks out to Mt. Sorpis and it is beautiful. When we arrived the house was clean and warm. There is plenty of room to accommodate our large family. We did not feel crowded. The host was very nice and did their best to accommodate our needs. We would recommend this property to others and stay again. Very beautiful place and gorgeous scenery.
The views were fabulous. The home had plenty of space. Bedding not very comfortable. The cleanliness was not up to par and the items such as garbage bags, coffee filters, soap, kitchen sponges were not provided and we had to provide our own. The bathrooms were not cleaned very well and toilet supplies were minimal.
My family had a good time because that’s what we do; but disappointed in the cleanliness department.; but I understand the property has been sold.
We had thanksgiving here spent 4 days here and everyday was just breath taking the views are amazing even from the windows!!! Everything was clean, they even had toys for the kids !! Which was a big one for our families since we did have like 4 toddlers. Everything we needed to cook our thanksgiving lunch was there and Clean ! Very friendly host as well quick to text back. OVERALL 10/10 wish I didn’t have to leave ! Thank you for having us it was an experience to remember!
highly recommend manager was easy accessible for any questions

Fabulous large family home
This extraordinary log lodge home, situated on a hilltop with views of snow-topped mountains as far as 25 miles away, is truly unique. The furnishings and supplies made it easy for my 18 person crew to enjoy every minute of our stay. The incredible views out the huge kitchen windows make even meal prep a nice experience. Plenty of beds and bathrooms kept things from ever becoming crowded.
The house is obviously “lived-in”, a little tired in a few areas, but this small shortcoming is overwhelmed by the overall beauty and functionality of this remarkable home. A great experience for my family!
A remarkable log lodge on an unbeatable site—the consummate Rocky Mountain experience. Not a new home, showing some age, but functioned perfectly for our family of 18–9 of them kids 2-14 years. Windowed Kitchen and multiple dining areas made mealtimes fun and easy. All of us really enjoyed this unique home!
It was pricey...yes, but amazing! Most everything about this mansion was beautiful. What a perfect setting for our yearly Glenwood Springs family get-together. House was very clean. A few very minor issues like bad hinges in the kitchen and aging windows....but no big deal! We loved this place!
It was a lovely place and we really enjoyed it. However we recommend upgrading the pillows and mattresses on the beds. They where not very good.
We did have to reach out the property manager/VRBO the day of to figure out how to get in as nothing was sent to us.

Loved it
There was 16 of and it had plenty of rooms and bedrooms and bathrooms! The view is spectacular and it has lots of outdoor space to enjoy. I couldn’t believe how many couches and dining tables they had! It was amazing I would have given it 5 stars but I found the kitchen a bit disorganized. It’s huge and has lot of cabinets and equipment. they were labeled but because it’s hard to remember where you got something from former guests just store things anywhere.
The well water is delicious. The stars at night are spectacular! We saw deer and heard elk bugling at night.
I want to warn people using phone maps especially the iPhone app. Do not take a county road that is marked unmaintained and has the tire ruts with a hump in between. You will drag the bottom of your vehicle and you can’t turn around!
All in all we had a great time. Thanks so much for making it available to us!
We had 16 people in our group and there was plenty of room with many dining tables and seating areas inside and outside! It’s very comfortable
The well water is delicious. The stars are spectacular at night. Wildflowers and wild life were everywhere. The view of the snow capped mountain was delightful! It’s quiet and refreshing
The kitchen is disorganized. It has plenty of equipment and utensils but because it has so many cabinets things don’t get returned to their properly labeled places.
Beware of using the iPhone maps app. It takes you on a clearly marked unmaintained county road that is 2 ruts with a hump in between. You’ll drag the bottom of your vehicle and there’s not place to turn around. It’s scary and dangerous!
We lived our time there. I wish I had been able to stay longer.
If you want a house with no neighbors in sight where you can do whatever you want and yell to the mountains definitely book here. Great for large groups of people. I took a trip with friends from college and it was a dream come true. Very understanding host who was easy to work with and stayed out of our hair…. 10/10!!!
This location was perfect for our extended family vacation. We had ages newborn to nearly 70 and it accommodates all of us comfortably. The views of Mt Sopris were incredible. House was well stocked with towel to kitchen supplies for our group. Highly recommend for a relaxing family trip.
We really enjoyed the house and the options to really spread out. It was a unique house built up on a hill with lots of sitting areas to enjoy the breathtaking views.

80th Birthday celebration
This home is perfect for large get-togethers. The adults and children all had a wonderful time and we had enough space in the home for combined cooking, dining and all around fun. I would certainly consider this home again for our 20 people!
The property was great and .served our needs perfectly. One disappointing thing is that there was discarded lawn furniture on the property beyond the deck.
Beautiful views of Mt Sopris. Large house with two of everything you need, two refrigerators, two grills, two dishwashers, etc. Plenty of space for our group of 14. Close to Aspen. Closer to Glenwood. Plenty of county roads for cycling.
Owners live on site in attached apt.
The house was immaculate. It was well stocked with all essentials and then some. It had the most beautiful views from every direction. The wildlife was abundant. Every room was decorated perfectly and they all were soundproof! We had an amazing time.

Magnificent views, tons of space
There were 7 adults and 8 kids who stayed at the house this weekend. It is a beautiful home and the views are STUNNING!
The house has tons of space for everyone which was great. It has two refrigerators and two dishwashers which is great.
Now for the not so great... We were unaware that there are people living in private areas on the property. We saw several cars when we pulled up which was confusing. That's a bit off-putting when you have kids there and people you don't know in the same house. However besides the cars and seeing them once, you wouldn't know they are there.
The kids also thought the strange and random pictures on the wall were "creepy", lol.
Lastly, we were not told how to get in to the house, so we were standing outside for awhile, looking through the reservation details and for an email. We finally just opened the front door!
Overall, the house is beautiful, it was clean, comfortable rooms and tons of space. Watch out for the bus and cactus though! There are an INSANE number of bugs and one of the kids got a tick in her hair.
The house location is so awesome as it is close to everything we wanted to do! Only 50 minutes from Aspen Snowmass and about 20 minutes from Glenwood Hot Springs! The kids had such a fun time sledding down the slopes on the house property! The views from the house windows and deck were to die for! I would highly recommend this home as it was very prepared to host larger groups of people! Everything was labeled in the kitchen for easy and quick finds. Very satisfied.
The only thing that was a little bothersome was that the person taking of the property, was currently staying in the attached apartment to the house. He/she caused the smoke detector to go off and there was some smoke in our basement area.
Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant and would probably book again.
Four generations of our family were represented at our Colorado home away from home. Our daughter’s wedding was beautiful with a snowy mountain background. We had enough room in the house to gather, or have our own spaces. The spectacular views, the wildlife, and heated floors(!) were truly amazing. Not having been in actual snow (South Texas gets ice sometimes), this trip didn’t disappoint. Maci made suggestions for the babies from hot chocolate and Christmas lights in town to snow sleds stocked in the closet. We will always have memories of this trip, and would absolutely recommend this property to any family. Thank you
This is a beautiful home , a wonderful 360 degree view of the mountains, just minutes to Glenwood Springs. We had our annual family reunion in October and had everything we could want or need at this home. The kitchen is the most complete kitchen for a large group I have ever encountered. There is a beautiful deck for star gazing during the night and family dinners during the day. Our children and family dogs made it seem just like home and we loved every minute! Thank you to Maci also for answering all our questions and making our stay wonderful.
