Private apartment in the core of Downtown Glenwood Springs. Garden lower level used only as a vacation rental, lots of windows, two walk out entrances, amazing interior design by Altitude Designs L.L.C. of Glenwood Springs. Fire place (winter only) and Chef's kitchen w/ SS appliances, quarts counter tops, patio with gas grill, and full laundry. Walk to both hot springs. 2 blocks from restaurant row, shops and parks. 1/2 block from bus (up valley to Carbondale, Basalt & Aspen. AMTRAK station 3 blocks. Next to Rio Grande bike trail (paved up valley to Aspen), Close to Glenwood Canyon bike trail (paved). Hiking and Rafting near by. County Courthouse 1/2 block. Downtown parking on site. This is a historic downtown property, some noise can be expected. Glenwood City: permit number is 18-128.

Beautifully renovated apartment. I didn’t realize it was a basement when I booked, but it didn’t feel at all like a basement. Brightly lit, very clean and well stocked. And the location is fantastic. Will definitely be back!

Great place

Was a great place to stay while in Glenwood Springs. Very clean, had everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. Enjoyed visiting with Bruce. Walkable to downtown with great restaurants.

Great Location

We loved the Pitkin Vacation house! It had lots of room for our family! It’s very clean and we loved that we could walk to restaurants. Great place- will definitely be back!

Great location in Glenwood Springs

This is our second stay in the past 9 months. The location is excellent with rear street parking. The basement apartment is well furnished and Bruce is a great host. This is our “go to” place in Glenwood Springs.

Property was in prime location. Easy walk to downtown and Doc Holiday trailhead. Central location to many activities. We were able to visit Iron Mountain Hot springs and Grizzly Creek trail. I would highly recommend. Great kitchen!!

Mountain Get Away

This is our second time staying at this cute little house. The host is very kind and accommodating, his neighbors are the sweetest people too. I woke up every morning and had coffee on the porch over looking his beautiful garden and the iron mountains. We are already planning our trip for next year!

Lovely Apartment

We had a great stay here! The kitchen and the apartment are well appointed and had everything we needed. The location is super walkable too. Communication with the owner was a breeze, they were also flexible with our dates after I made a scheduling mistake. Much appreciated. We will be back!

Fabulous Location Very Clean

Close to shopping and good restaurants. The apartment was extremely clean. Great pots,pans, and knives for cooking! Nice outside patio. Definitely bring your own coffee because it is not provided and extra toilet paper.

Wonderful Place & Great Location

We ended a week long family ski trip at the Pitkin house. It had everything needed for a family of four. The build out of the apartment was really well thought out and high quality. Very clean and comfortable. The location was as good as it gets for exploring Glenwood. We were able to walk to everythjng with an easy 5 min walk. We loved the place, Bruce was a great host and we will be back for sure.

Nice apartment

Great location to down town, clean, quite and good layout. It is under the house but like mid height to the ground. So it doesn't feel like you are in a basement to much. Very easy to check in and out.

Perfect for a Couple’s Getaway

Pitkin House has everything we wanted - parking on site, walking distance to town, full kitchen, with a king bed in a quiet neighborhood. Double thumbs up to Bruce K, our host, for supplying an electric kettle upon request. And many thanks to Bruce for sharing the delicious tomatoes and pepper from his garden. Friendly next door neighbors too. We’ll return to Pitkin House again.

Really great location. We walked to everything including hot springs, vapor caves, coffee, etc. Hose was clean and homey. Nice kitchen. It is in a basement so not much sunlight but we were gone all day anyway. Only had one spare roll of TP was my only complaint. But great spot. Would go back 👍
