"The property is enormous and the exterior is well maintained. There is a really nice picnic area that has grilles and a lot of tables for family seating. Our room was neat but the bathroom but the bathroom was very tiny. I think any issues we had were a result of the property just opening for the season."

"The motel is ok, probably fine for a summer place to be near the beach. It was fairly cold when we checked in and apparently the rooms we were put in have no heat. So we had to ask the front desk for space heaters, which they happily brought and did keep the place very warm.
It's no frills, but the bed was comfortable enough and it was close to Wally's where we were going, so it did the job for us just fine."

"The room was clean and neat, with some art. There was a small fridge and coffee maker. I loved the deck off the room overlooking the marsh. I enjoyed sitting out there in the morning listening to the birds and feeling the cool breeze. I didn't realize the breakfast that is available, a substantial buffet, was not included in the room price. We opted to walk to a local breakfast place instead, about a mile away. The hotel is not that far from downtown, very quick drive."
"Rooms were clean and staff friendly. Not motel fault-we went out back to sit on bench to enjoy the lake. It smelt horribly of pot. So we went back inside. Noisy. The complimentary shampoo was used 1/4 full. It did have an older motel smell."
"Highly recommend this place for the Beverly Hillbillies. For what I paid, this was a massive ripoff. Although it was clean, I had a chair leaned up against my door, fearful of the level of clientele. The door had no safety features. There were no rugs in the entire room. The check in person was sweet. Actually, she was the best feature of this property. It took me twenty minutes to locate the motel, and when I got there I knew immediately that I was in big trouble. If I hadn’t prepaid via Expedia, I wouldn’t have gotten out of there as fast as I could. Highly do not recommend this place. I compare my stay as booking a room at Motel 8, for $79.99. At $169….shame on you."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐4.5/5 Stars – A Beautiful Place to Slow Down
After a 12-day high-energy road trip, we specifically chose Atlantis Oceanfront Inn because we wanted a peaceful place to rest and recharge. It was exactly what we needed.
My first recommendation is to arrive during daylight hours if possible. The property and coastline are gorgeous, and it helps you get oriented in Gloucester before dark. Once we settled in, we fell in love with the location.
The oceanfront balcony was the star of the stay. Every morning we woke up to beautiful views of rocky coastline, soft waves, colorful flowers, and lighthouses in the distance. The lawn and landscaping are beautifully maintained. The balconies are not private—think cruise ship style—but the views more than make up for it.
The room was very clean and comfortable. It isn't a luxury hotel, but it has clearly been refreshed with updated windows, doors, blinds, curtains, furniture, carpet, and linens. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day.
The pool area was another pleasant surprise. The deck and pool surface appear recently renovated, and the blue-and-white lounge chairs give the space an elegant coastal feel.
We also loved the café. Breakfast became part of our daily routine. The staff were consistently friendly, portions were generous, and the grilled muffins were absolutely worth ordering. Fresh fruit plates were also available, but there is no liquor license, no outdoor seating, and they do not stay open late."
"It was a wonderful stay, with glorious views of the ocean waves beating on the rocks. Added surprise was finding out it is next-door to an Elks club. One of the nicest we’ve ever been to. It has a banquet hall, full bar and kitchen which serves lunch and dinners . Fresh haddock was wonderful! We will be back again."
"Room ac didn’t work well. Had a dog smell in the room. Middle dryer doesn’t dry clothes. Had to move them after the cycle to another dryer because they were still wet. Had to ask for towels because we only had 3 for 5 staying in the suite. $3.47 overnight for parking is a bit odd."
"Me and my fiancée decided to stay at Hampton for a mini trip and I found this charm I was not expecting it to be so nice and modern i loved the room and my fiancée enjoyed the balcony will be coming back soon"
