"The room was clean, the staff was incredibly kind and friendly, and the rooms had heating that was adjustable, so that if we wanted to be warmer, we could turn up the heat. The lodge itself is beautiful, and has significance historically in the area. I appreciated the free breakfast option, and my options were plentiful. We were offered extra towels if needed, shown a collection of DVDs we could use for the DVD player in our room (each room has one!) and offered coffee and hot cocoa by the staff. There were extra blankets in the bedroom, a good sized fridge and microwave and coffee maker, and the shower was also a bath. They had a parlor room for recreational use with tables, sofas, vending machines, and a chess table, and it was positively cozy. I enjoyed learning about the lodge’s history from the staff, and I hope the lodge stays open for years to come. They care about their guests."

"The better cabins are very beautiful. The suites are a room in a ~70's hotel building, they are not beautiful in my opinion. Look at the pictures closely. The resort is walking distance to Mt Rainier Park, you could not be closer. I will definitely stay in one of these cabins again, had a great time!"

"If you’re looking to book this stay for your family, or a quick getaway from the city life this is the perfect stay.The check in process is extremely smooth and the house itself is beautiful, the wood stove was a huge selling point for us as well as the outside hot tub. We enjoyed every bit of the stay and this cozy home away from home.They provided so many amenities whether you’re there with your kids or just on an adult getaway. There are many board games as well as a gaming console downstairs to keep the kids busy. The kitchen is stocked to the absolute brim which was amazing so you do not need to bring any utensils from your own kitchen. The fridge space is extremely spacious seeing that you have multiple fridges in different locations (e.g. garage, downstairs laundry room, kitchen).The hosts were easy to reach and the location of this place was just perfect being further away from others but close enough to restaurants and other outings that it’s ideal.We would definitely recommend this stay for anyone.Thank you to MossHenge for giving us a perfect stay for our 10 year anniversary."

"We had a great visit to Mount Rainier National Park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant at the food was good and waitstaff attentive. No WIFI but nice fireplace to sit and read!"

"This cozy cabin was the perfect setting for a few days of exploring Mt Rainier NP. It was close to the park, so we had easy access to come and go as weather and our appetites dictated. The setting is also beautiful. We were lucky enough to be able to set outside and enjoy the sunset and full moon while be warmed by the double sided fireplace. Perfect place!"

"Cabin was wonderful. our only regret was not having enough time to enjoy the cabin. the only drawback that we could find was that the wood burning fireplace was very smoky, even with the flue wide open. otherwise it was perfect. Close to the entrance to the park."
