"It was our first time to visit Aso and we had no idea where to stay. But coincidentally we found out this place and it was the highlight of our trip. The place is located in Minami Aso, southern part of Aso and features stargazing. They own a planetarium, private observatory and large garden to observe stars. On top of cozy and lovely accomodations. Staff are very nice, professional and enthusiastic about stars, space, and the room was large and cozy with a decoy fireplace, a big bathtub, beds...

"Since I go there in March, the weather is a little bit warm in afternoon, if the air conditioning can be changed to “cool” would be better (checked with front desk staff that cannot be changed), other things are quite good "

"The living arrangements were in the character of traditional Japanese style with every amenity. Architecturally very Japanese with a beautiful outdoor garden for viewing. Traditional bathing setup and the host was attentive and friendly. "
