The Grand Chalet Grizzli brings sophisticated, contemporary style to the mountains. Located in the Dogtooth Estates, let this custom designed, amenity filled home be your retreat at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Brand new and fully equipped, this stunning chalet boasts 6 bedrooms all featuring en-suite bathrooms to comfortably sleep 14 guests. There are three living areas; the first with a custom fir pool table; the second, a media room with flat screen TV; and the third with a 2 sided wood burning fireplace.

Each living space is furnished with oversized couches and chairs, unique contemporary artwork and finished off with drapes and cushions in earthy hews which add comfort and warmth. Other features include; geothermal hydronic radiant heat warming the slate floors, the home, and your feet; stained concrete counter tops, top end appliances, large dining table, hot tub with waterfall , back door access to the cross country ski trails and large picture windows opening to stunning views of the snow capped peaks. Grand Chalet Grizzli is situated on a private end lot backed by trees and is ski-in and only meters away to the ski out and all other Resort Amenities. This is a beautiful upscale home. Every room is spacious and luxurious. Every bedroom is an en-suite, the kitchen has everything you need, and there are several living areas to spread out in. The location is quiet and convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying here. The house is in a great location, just a short walk to ski to the lifts and an easy ski home. The house is large with a great kitchen. There was more than enough space for our group. We will definitely book here again if/when we come back to KHMR.

Wonderful extended family holiday.

We choose this property for a Christmas / New Year's holiday for our extended family of 13 coming from different parts of Canada and Europe. It was our perfect size for our group and just a 5 minute drive (or walkable) to both the ski hill and the Nordic center. Gabriel is also a very responsive host and all instructions were clear and confirmed. The house has plenty of space for all activites, and the pool table and hot tub were well utilized by our family. We definitely would recommend.

My dad's Celebration of Life

The accommodations at Grizzly Chalet suited our group very well. There were enough rooms and space to gather and spread out when needed. What a beautiful place. Very comfortable and well stocked. Love the very large table as we could gather for many fantastic meals. A great way for family to come together to say goodbye to our dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, husband and friend.

Excellent Accommodation For Large Groups

Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our group of 12. Sleeping arrangements can be made up in Kings or Singles. Great for all types of groups. The kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of seating in common areas for your entire group. Pool table is a nice touch to pass time. Large hot tub on covered patio. Gabriel is very communicative for all your needs throughout your stay. Will definitely be back!!

Winter Family Ski Trip

Our family of 9 loved staying together at The Grand Chalet Grizzli. It is grand indeed! Large spacious and beautiful, each couple had their own king sized bed with luxury linens and an attached bathroom. Each bedroom has it own thermostat for custom temperature control. We enjoyed cooking together in the huge and well equipped kitchen, then sharing a meal at the family table — everyone telling stories of their mountain adventures from the day.The spectacular wood burning fireplace was a special bonus and the supply of wood generous. The hot tub was the favourite spot to be after a day on the slopes and Nordic trails.Spotlessly clean!Book The Grizzli for your next family holiday. You won’t regret it!Can’t wait to be back

Good stay in Golden

My large family group loved our stay in this home. Each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom which was a real treat after staying in smaller accomodations for the beginning of our trip. The house is spacious and well taken care of for the most part. The house is a bit out of the way of actual downtown Golden, but we enjoyed the drive up the mountain each day coming back. Only complaint is that many of the bathroom windows did not have curtains and so when showering it felt that the neighbors could look in on us. Curtains in the rooms did not always work or were jammed when we got there. The host had good communication wjth our family and answered al pur questions. We definitely would want to stay again!

Fantastic property!

We stayed in this house as part of a little golf trip, and absolutely loved it! The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very easy to use. Beds were very comfy and each room having it's own bathroom was perfect! We loved the pool table and quite enjoyed the hot tub after a few rounds of golf. Only comment would be that we wished there was more than 1 TV in the house. Maybe one in the pool room or by the fire place. Regardless we absolutely loved our stay and Gabriel was fantastic to work with. Very responsive, coordinated and ready to help if needed. Check-in and out was a breeze. Looking forward to next year! Thanks again!

Canadian Rocky Outdoor Adventure

3 families with young adult children.. we all had a great time in the spacious house and huge super well stocked kitchen. with so much room, and bathrooms with every bedroom, we had all the privacy needed. loved the hot tub. went biking with a neighbor/local who showed us great trails. kept busy with all the outdoor activities available (hiking, biking, golf, via ferrata, white water rafting and saw Boo the bear...) 15 min drive to Golden. 1 hour to Lake Louise. be aware of Hwy 1 closures at night - during weekdays. House was Awesome!!
