"Property has everything you need for your stay in the northwoods. Ample room for a family or a couples vacation. Everything was clean and ready. Being pet friendly was a big plus! "This is at least the third time I've stayed at these cabins. The check-in has always been easy; they are clean, comfortable, and dog-friendly. My interactions with the owners have always been good. The location, near Iron River, MI, is great for my needs. They recently installed a/c units, which work great but are very noisy."

"14 members of 1 family from grand parents to 7 grandkids. Good combinations of sleeping for everyone. Unique interior layout. You must be able to climb steps! Great kitchen and eating arrangement. Outdoor deck eating was very nice. I would say bathrooms were dated, lighting was not good, and the master shower was not adequate based on size, step up and shower head. Very nice clear lake with a nice swimming area and plenty of water toys. Grounds were nicely cared for and staff was available at the snap of a finger."

"What a view! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. Right on the lake, with own private beach and dock. Great firepit. 15-20 minutes away from downtown Eagle River. Definitely would stay again!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Dawsons Den in Phelps. The house had everything we needed for a fun, easy vacation. All info in the listing was accurate. The kitchen has everything you need to cook etc; hot tub was a great bonus. It was ready to go when we arrived. Everything in excellent condition. Dishwasher, washing machine, a/c -- everything worked. Plenty of sheets, towels and basics to make the stay easy. Definitely recommend."
