Great hotel!

My sisters and I stayed at the Fairfield because we were going to the NC Pickle Festival in Mt Olive, NC. The hotel was fantastic, great room, very clean, and staff very friendly! Especially Bobbie! She was so sweet, friendly, and so much fun! We will definitely stay again!!

The staff was so nice! The only reason i gave 4 stars in some categories was because the roller cart was so so so hard to maneuver in and out of the room and elevator. The staff was do nice to assist me but even they had a hard time with it. It took 3 of us to get it into the elevator over the bumps.

Stay in Smithfield NC

The hotel was well maintained. L9cation very good for travelers on I 95. Room and bathroom very clean. Bedding was comfortable. Staff was efficient. The only thing that I was surprised about was the breakfast. I have stayed at many hotels with breakfast included, many of them Marriott properties and this was the worst I have ever experienced.

So-so......how old is this place??

I was under-whelmed by this property......it's pretty old. Old carpet, tv, toilet very LOW.......that's the 2000's look.

I loved the location of the hotel. Not only is it minutes from the Outlets but their are numerous options to eat. I also liked that it was very close to I95 as well as my relative's home. The staff was great and very accommodating. The only thing that bothered us was that we had to kill a roach in our bathroom and as my wife was walking in from getting more towels, a waterbug flew right by her head in our room. My wife doesn't do bugs of any kinds. Of course this had her on pins and needles the rest of our stay.

The room itself was clean. However on our first night there was a huge bug in the seating area. Also outside our room what seemed like some trash had been dropped prior to our arrival for the two nights, was never vacuumed up. Toilet ok but had to hold down the handle to flush.

There there 2 nights, there was no maid service so the bed was not made after check in, no fresh towels had to go down to the front dest to get what we needed. For that price it was extreemly dissappointing. I have a reservation for 2 nights in VA Beach in September I am thinking of cancelling and staying somewhere else.
