"Loved the location. Appreciated the friendly staff at the front desk and the helpful parking attendants. Clean room with all the conveniences and great amenities. Overall we really loved this hotel with its great services and beautifully appointed rooms!"

"This is our second time staying there as our daughter attends UCSB. Very clean and the facility is exactly as displayed by the photos, but during the second stay we arrived at 10 PM (after a 12 hour flight and driving from LAx) and there was no one at the front desk - with a sign posted that the front staff was helping another customer. We were extremely frustrated as we weren't sure how long the wait would be. I don't think the wait was longer than 15-20 minutes, but I would suggest when the front staff leaves, they provide a pager or someone we can call for reassurance (during the waiting process, we were already looking for other hotels as we desperately needed rest)."

"great location, you can walk any where in Solvang. close to several restaurants, shops, wine tasting and olive oil tasting. went to the outdoor theater for a great play, was an easy walk. enjoyed the gardens and the wine reception. the breakfast was okay with a breakfast meat, eggs(which I could not eat because they had cheese in it) 3 types of cereal and also packets of oatmeal. 3 juices, coffee"
