"First of all, the hosts - Veronique and Jerome were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and I got to practice my French a bit too! Breakfast was very nice with local produce every morning. They also gave us lots of advice about where to go. The pool was lovely and cool with a great view. The air con worked very nicely in our room. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Chris and Laura."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and can highly recommend this beautiful house. The property is stunning and decorated with exceptional taste and attention to detail.We stayed with our three children and were able to relax completely from the moment we arrived. The swimming pool is fantastic—large, well maintained, and perfect for both adults and children. The garden is incredibly spacious and offers plenty of room to play and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.What impressed us most were the breathtaking views, which made every morning and evening feel special. This is truly a place where you can disconnect and enjoy a perfect family holiday.Marielle is a warm-hearted and discreet host. She made us feel genuinely welcome while also giving us complete privacy throughout our stay.Thank you for a memorable stay. We would love to come back again!"

"Excellent all around! If you’re looking for a weekend to escape and disconnect, this is the place. The rooms were spacious, clean and super well maintained. Service from the staff was top notch. And the crown jewel of the property… the spa, was impeccable from the treatment to the facilities. Saw another review about how loud the frogs are, but didn’t experience the same. You will hear the cicadas, but that’s nature’s white noise! Couldn’t recommend enough"

"Excellent séjour dans un gite en pleine nature... un super terrain de jeu pour les enfants qui ont passé leur temps à construire des cabanes et inventer des histoire avec des bouts de bois et des cailloux ! Anne Marie et Pierre sont aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes tout en restant discrets.Bref tout était parfait ! Merci !"
Beautiful house surrounded by nature with swimming pool

"My wife and I, along with our small dog, very much enjoyed our stay at this property in July of 2026. A lovely building that has been well renovated and tastefully decorated. It has a nice pool and outdoor areas, making it very comfortable to hang around during the day and soak up the sun.It's very private with no other properties in view, although it's not far from local amenities. Lurs is close, with two bistros available, and La Brillanne has an excellent Carrefour, plus a really good boulangerie. Venture further for some excellent restaurants. I'd especially recommend L'Auberge du Bois which is quite close, and Les Terraces de la Bastide in Forcalquier.Access to the property is via an unmade road. Most cars will not have a problem, but I wouldn't want to arrive in a Lamborghini or a vintage E-Type.I have no hesitation in recommending this property."

"Attention to little things such as placing a variety of chocolates/nougat/calissons each night on the bed and a bottle of wine to welcome guests. Food was excellent. Cocktails were lovely. Having indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus. The nearby town of Forcalquier was well worth visiting"
