"The hotel is centered around their restaurant which superb.
Also the breakfast is unconventional and made of the finest ingredients.
The spa is small but lovely and made with the finest taking care of details.
A place which is a true delight "
"The owner is very friendly and speaks good English.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a charming homely atmosphere which can really add to the experience.
If I was staying in the same area, I will happily stay at this hotel again. "
"This hotel is awful and disgusting; the smell of mold and dust instantly chokes you as you enter. The bed was hard, the pillows were awful, and the blanket was very thin, making the winter stay extremely cold. The bathroom is designed in such a way that even with a heater, the shower remains freezing cold. The room had a full kitchen, but not a single piece of cutlery or utensils, and our request to be provided with any kind of dish had been denied, as apparently we were not allowed to use the...
"Staff were amazing and food was good however the hotel is in pooor condition
Wall paper falling off the walls everywhere
Carpets are coming up in all the corridors "
"It was an amazing week in La Plagne. Perfect location, ski-in and ski-out, apartments were clean and cozying. Very friendly people on reception met us and helped with accommodation.
I was a little disappointed that the apartment did not have such things as slippers (floor was quite cold without it), soap, WiFi, dishwasher detergent. It is not very expensive but might make a rest more comfortable."
"Room did not look like photos. We had to make our own beds!!! The hotel is in a remote location where the restaurant and local grocery store were closed. The hotel staff did not inform us ahead of our stay, forcing us to drive 60 minutes both ways to find the nearest play to dine."
"Already reported that WiFi code can only be obtained at the reception and that the reception is a good wslk uphill and cannot be reached by (internal) telephone and eternal phone is not answered. Getting a warm shower meant that you need to wait 10 minutes before the hot water reaches the nice shower. Once hot it is hot. "

MERIBEL CENTER - LOVELY CHALET FOR 8 - PARKING -
5MN SKI SLOPES - DIRECT OWNER -
10/10 Excellent
"Where do I start?! The Chalet is perfect for 8 adults - plenty of space, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen that was well appointed for the evenings we decided to cook in, and a nice cozy basement living/family room with comfy couches for lounging. There is a dedicated ski room with boot dryers and ski racks with tile floor so you can come in and out from your days on the slopes without making a mess! The beds were comfortable, and the washer & dryer made freshening up towels and clothes a breeze. The chalet is situated further from La Chaudanne (the main base area in Meribel) but is a 5-7 minute walk in ski boots (definitely uphill, but a good warmup to your ski day!) to a free shuttle (Line A) that runs every 15 minutes in the mornings & evenings and every 30 minutes midday and later at night. This made getting to the base area so easy every day.The hosts provide plenty of resort maps, which were so helpful in planning our days. Les 3 Valleés is obviously massive, but traversing the mountain takes quite a bit of planning if you've never been!Jean Noël personally greeted us at the Chalet upon our arrival, and walked us through the home and made himself available if we needed anything during our week's stay. You're a 5-minute walk to the SPAR grocery store, which has everything you'll need for your stay (we needed to buy handsoap, toilet paper/paper towels, etc) and is not overly expensive.Cannot say enough great things about this property and would love to return!!"
"I've stayed in a few places in Meribel. This was one of the best. Rooms are quite small, but ours came with a balcony and nice bathroom. The hotel is opposite the main lifts in Meribel centre. The hotel also (and I would say unusually) has an amazing heated outdoor pool, with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi (wasnt working). Breakfast was really good as well. Compared to other 3/4*'s in Meribel, this place was good value considering all the amenities. Will try and stay again if I go back to Meribel."
"MERIBEL 12/25/24- We MOST HEARTILY RECOMMEND a stay at Résidence Pierre & Vacances Les Ravines, in the district of “Les Allues” but do not be confused, this is in the very heart of Meribel, not the village of Les Allues!!! You could not ask for a better location for your stay to ski and explore the 3 Vallees. Although the reception is not open all day, the hours are not really inconvenient, they are open in the morning and in the afternoon, best of all if you are arriving when the reception is closed, there is a baggage room with a coded lock, and you will be provided this code upon request, you can deposit your luggage then explore the village to obtain a ski pass or rent equipment. We mostly interacted with Gonzalo, who was conversant in several languages and always had a smile and warm greeting for us.
There is the Casino- not for playing blackjack but for buying any type of coffee, lait, baguette, fromage or whatever you want (including a very reasonable bottle of Crozes-Hermitage) for your stay.
50m away is an excellent sport shop with everything you could want for your stay including ski rental. I really appreciated them for the expert ski boot adjustment that relieved very painful pressure. There is an access to the slopes located there (with escalator), so you need only walk about 75m. The room had a double "murphy" bed and 2 bunks, small kitchen and a tub in the bath. Great view to the West. Small kitchen with fridge, coffee pot uses cone filters. WE LOVED IT THERE!"
