Golfito, Costa Rica, is a charming port town on the southern Pacific Coast, near the Panama border, nestled within the Golfo Dulce. Known for its lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and rich biodiversity, it offers a serene escape with attractions like the Golfito Mixed Wildlife Refuge and Piedras Blancas National Park. Once a banana export hub, it now thrives on eco-tourism, sport fishing, and a duty-free shopping center. The town’s tropical climate brings 160-200 inches of rain annually, enhancing its vibrant greenery.
