"My brother, our friend, and I stayed for 3 days at Wilfried's place in Colmberg, which is a pleasant small town just a 20 minute drive from Rothenburg. The spacious converted barn is very homey, with sofas, WiFi, a large-screen television, etc. Wilfired was very personable, enjoyed chatting with us and giving us recommendations for restaurants in the area, and even for other good places to visit in southern Germany. If some day I return to the area I will definitely stay with Wilfried again."

The owners responded immediately to any questions and were so helpful.....providing me with antiseptic and bandages when I had a fall, going to a nearby restaurant and helping us order since I don’t speak German and generally being very pleasant and friendly. "Sehr herzlicher Emfang. Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Es gab selbst erzeugten Wein und eine Rundfahrt mit dem Traktor für die Kinder. Außerdem viele Fahrzeuge für die Kinder (Kettcar, ect...). Wir durften unsere Fahrräder in der Scheune unterstellen. In der Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz und eine Outdoorkegelbahn. Und hast es sehr gefallen. "A very nice, warm and well equipped flat. It had everything that we needed. As well as catering for ourselves we had a delicious meal at the Gasthaus. It is very handy for the train station, from where we got trains to Rothenburg and Wurzburg."

"We had a fantastic stay at Cristoph’s lovely home. The home is even more beautiful and spacious than we had anticipated. The beds are cozy and the home is extremely well stocked and in such a great village. We enjoyed walking in the evenings and found the locals to be some of the friendliest we have ever experienced. Dort hatte der Durchgangsraum (Wohnzimmer) keine Fenster, der dahinterliegende Schlafraum hatte Kellerfensteröffnungen zu Lichtschächten. Das hatten wir so...
