The bed slats are too short and fall down at the slightest movement. Finally, the owner made us pay an additional fee for a 6th person even though we were 5. Avoid!"

"We drove down to Ljubljana from the UK in August 2024 while enroute to Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days as it had free parking, wasn't far from the city centre and other attractions. Parking onsite can get competitive at times, but we would eventually find a space. "This property is located outside of the city center in a quiet neighborhood with a few local restaurants within walking distance. The Vila is within 2 blocks of a bus stop which makes travel to the city center very easy and you pay by card on the bus. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a small refreshment and dessert item. The Vila is a lovely set up with modern rooms and charming furniture. I was so pleased with my selection and highly recommend this location for a stay in Ljubljana!"

"Really great place to stay for families. The host is very friendly and welcoming. Excellent for families with with young children as there is sports equipment - football goals, trampoline and bikes to play on. There are also 3 washing machines and a tumble dryer so very useful if you have a longer stay. The stream is really nice for the kids to play in with tubes to ride down."

"Communication with the house keeper was excellent, very helpful and friendly person. He tried everything to help us and feel us comfortable. The advertisement here on expedia didn’t mention the seperated bathroom which was actually in the hallway, not inside our apartment. The bathroom for 5 people was tiny, but ok. Besides that we had a great stay. "

"Vi havde nogle rigtig dejlige dage i Letna Garden - først var vi ærligt lidt skuffede over, at der var 2,5 km om til Bled søen, men stedet voksede virkelig på os, og vi endte med at være super glade for beliggenheden, der også var markant mindre turistet end ved søen. Varm anbefaling herfra!"

"This was a good out of the way spot from the busy crowds that are in Bled. It is clean, spacious and a good price for the amount of space you have. It is a do it yourself option as there is no service, but with a fully stocked kitchen and 2 full sized bedrooms, it’s nice to have the privacy."

"Be warned that you need early coordination for key pickup as there is no reception or self-checkin, which we were aware before booking. We had to wait over an hour to meet the host late in the evening when we were so tired. The condition of the apartment was bad. Faucet was broken (though usable), cracks on walls and ants in the kitchen. We would've left if we had other availability nearby. "

"Lovely hotel in a convenient location for activities around lake Bled. Pool facilities were excellent and the towels and bag provided for use during the stay was a nice touch. "From the moment we arrived at the Grand Hotel Toplice in Lake Bled, we were completely enchanted. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a welcome cocktail in the sitting room lobby — and let me tell you, sipping that drink while taking in the most breathtaking view I’ve ever seen felt like a dream. The service here is in a league of its own — truly the highest caliber I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal, warm, and effortless. Our room was absolutely perfect, and I have to give special mention to the water pressure (a small but very important detail for me!) — it was spot on. The location couldn’t be better — just steps from charming shops, delicious restaurants, and local events. But the crown jewel of our stay? The hotel’s private beach. With bar service, attentive personal butlers, and the best possible access to swim in Lake Bled, it was pure bliss. I have never recommended a hotel more highly in my life. Out of all of our global travels and experiences with Small Luxury Hotels, this one stands at the very top of my list. We will absolutely be returning — the Grand Hotel Toplice has officially become my favorite stay in the world."
