"Cleanest and nicest place I have ever stayed in Ethiopia. Fast and fresh breakfast made to order. I had to evacuate early due to COVID-19. I watched the hostess, Helen, calmly help many very stressed travelers She and the staff went above and beyond. She let me use her phone, since all the airline websites were crashing. "I have traveled the world with my family, and HIGHLY recommend the Mayleko Lodge. I selected the lodge at random, and was glad I did. The service was incredible. The Hotel Manger paid personal visits to our room to ensure that we were doing well, and in one case noted we were late for breakfast, and offered to arrange room service so we would not miss our breakfast. The Hotel Manger also arranged sightseeing with a very knowledgeable local guide that my son and I very much enjoyed. The Food...

"It is a very beautiful and quiet place. The rooms are huge and very clean. Beautiful terrace. But the best of all, the staff, expecially the one of the restaurant. I went for Simien for three days and my mother, which doesn't speak English, stayed at the hotel. All the staff took care of her like family! Also the manager, Miracle, was awesome!! Thank you so much! "
