"The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. "

"This was a very peaceful and pretty little country house. It’s a good getaway if you want to be out in the wilderness and not have the city life around you! Only about 15 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants if needed. Unfortunately, we had a lot of rain and had mud everywhere but luckily we brought mud boots! My grandson had a great time playing in the mud. The beds were very comfortable and they provided everything we needed as far as kitchen, utensils and bath linens and other amenities that were added."

"The 90-acre cattle ranch delivered a strong setting for a strategic offsite. The secluded, wide-open environment created the right conditions for focused discussion, relationship building, and stepping away from day-to-day operations. The natural setting and slower pace helped encourage more candid conversations and alignment across the executive team.The property itself offered a unique and memorable experience, with well-maintained grounds and a comfortable, rustic atmosphere that fit the purpose of the retreat. The shared spaces worked well for group sessions and informal connection.The primary drawback was lodging capacity. Limited rooms on-site required supplemental hotel accommodations, which added a layer of logistical complexity and slightly disrupted the cohesion of having everyone in one place.Overall, it was a high-impact venue for strategic planning, especially for teams that value privacy, focus, and a more relaxed environment over traditional corporate settings."
