"In the main this is a great hotel with many positives. Location is fab , with a bus stop near and a few restaurants / bars in either direction. However there desperately needs to be a crossing on the main road up from the harbour , this is dangerous !!!! Also a supermarket / grocery store closer would be helpful. The hotel itself is full of old charm , the room was spacious and incredibly clean... yes dated as we were in a non refurbished one . However it added to the quaintness. Housekeeping was very good , although I did have to ask reception to move drinks bottles on our corridor that had been left for nearly 2 days. Breakfast was fabulous , a good choice and lovely setting. Finally the swimming pool was definitely the WOW factor. We had a great time using this frequently and never tired of the view xx"
Brand new 2 bedroomed apartment in Fort Chambray Gozo

"The apartment was lovely—modern, exceptionally clean, and equipped with every convenience we could have wished for. Our host, Mariella, thoughtfully provided water, tea, coffee and snacks, as well as washing-up liquid, cloths and tea towels, shower gel, toilet rolls, and fresh bathroom and pool towels.The two king-size beds were extremely comfortable, and we were particularly grateful for the air conditioning, as we visited in August when temperatures were very high.The pool is beautiful and exceptionally spacious, with easy access via gentle steps, which was especially helpful for me as I have some difficulty walking. There are pool rules in place, including no jumping or diving and keeping noise levels low. These suited us perfectly, although I did notice that some families with young children found it difficult to prevent them from jumping into the pool, which is, of course, a very natural thing for children to want to do.Mariella was an excellent host and kept in touch throughout our stay, recommending places to visit and restaurants, as well as letting us know about local events and celebrations that we might enjoy.We hired a car for our stay and found Fort Chambray to be an ideal base for exploring the area. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful property."

"One of the best resorts I’ve stayed in. It’s big and even though it’s busy it doesn’t feel crowded. The little beach is a massive plus as the island doesn’t have many. Food is excellent! Every day different dishes. Two restaurants to go to. 3 swimming pools and an inside one with cold unsalted water. Bus stop 5 min from hotel. Water activities jetty even less. Every room has a balcony. It’s worth paying extra for the sea view one as it’s beautiful overlooking the pools and the sea. We were given a half sea view initially but after talking to the staff they’ve kindly changed our room to the full sea view. My only gripe is no free water given with dinner. Water is a basic human necessity and should be provided for free at meal times. Loved the place and would happily come back."

"We had a great week in this villa, the pool is perfect for all ages and the whole villa is well kept and well equipped! As a family of 9, we all had plenty of space as there are multiple seating areas and as a bonus each room has its own bathroom. The location is also great, with a supermarket and some restaurants in walking distance, as well as great food delivery and facilities services available, which all helped make it a very relaxing week. Nadia is a great host, attentive and was very communicative. Thanks for a great stay!"

"The quaint hotel Is a little gem. The staff is amazing, very helpful and attentive. A special mention to Frankie who was so informative and provided excellent customer service. The hotel was very clean and had all we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The location is great. Well connected to local attractions and beautiful beaches by public transport. Worth while to buy a flexi ticket for unlimited travel which also includes the ferry crossing (we took the catamaran which departs from Valletta and only takes 45 min to get to Gozo. (€14 return ticket). The island of Gozo is wonderful and people very friendly, I would highly recommend a trip there and definitely staying at the Quaint hotel."

"Outstanding. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The pools are better than the photos, huge and quiet throughout the day. The accommodation is spotless and Tony was so helpful at check in. The accommodation is on bus routes and getting around the island is incredibly easy. The supermarket is in walking distance, along with a lovely restaurant. Lovely, family vibev- very safe."

"Great secluded villa in a lovely village. Location was ideal, walking distance to small shops and restaurants and just a short drive to beaches. Villa was well kept, clean and tidy. The pool is a good size and very private. We had a great time and would go back."

"This lovely property is up the hill from the main port in Mgarr in Gozo and is very well equipped and spacious. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and main living space are a godsend. we travelled in in july and the temperatures were 40C on several days!!! We didnt need a car as the nearby bus stop took you directly to the gorgeous sandy Ramla beach (go to the right end of the beach for the best sands and lovely snorkelling).We arrived late on a friday evening & were greeted by the host - with wine and food as well as a tour of the houses amenities and some excellent tips on how to get around the island.The views from the balconies & terraces are fantastic - its wonderful to watch the ferries and boats come and go from the harbour. You can also clearly see the famous blue lagoon from the terraces! There was a gas BBQ on the terrace and plenty of associated equipment in the kitchen so we ate on the roof and played family games into the night. This is a lovely place to stay. Its easy to get around Gozo and there is plenty to see and do for a week.The villa has beach equipment available as well as the bikes. Be aware that the villa is half way up a pretty steep hill - we elected not to bike in the summer heat even though we are all fit and active. The nearest supermarket is also a bit of a walk away - but opening hours are long and its well equipped. We'd recommend this property for its high standards & the host for his communication & helpfulness"
