"Breakfast was rather dull with no seasoning. Orange juice tasted funny. I was dissspointed there no USB plugs to charge my phone. TV was big but only had limited access to TV channels and no access to Netflix or Amazon. But nice bed, nice shower, AC worked well."

"Loved this little cabin in the wilds of Texas! Spotty cell service was the only complaint. Which, honestly, helped me and the kids to unplug and get away if only for a couple of days. It is such a unique place Beth has. We loved the goats and horses that came by to visit."

"We stayed in a beautiful home about 15–20 minutes from Burnet with a stunning view of Lake Buchanan. The porch was the highlight — watching the sun set over the water was spectacular. The neighborhood was quiet and full of deer, which the girls loved. They also enjoyed the bubble bath after long days outside.First morning we booked a charter with Bosstriper Guide Service and Captain Graham. He was professional, fun, and great at keeping the kids engaged. We caught six nice-sized striped bass to keep and eat. Toward the end of the trip he took us to a secluded waterfall that looked perfect for cliff diving. Highly recommend Graham if you’re fishing Lake Buchanan with kids.We also rode at Spider Mountain. Service was outstanding and the lift was a blast. The trails were a bit too advanced for my daughters given their limited bike experience, so keep that in mind if you’re bringing newer riders. The bike shop had the necessities (rentals, helmets, basics) but not a huge selection beyond that.We spent time at Inks Lake State Park as well — easy, pretty, and a nice contrast to the more structured activities.For food, Warehouse BBQ and Meetery in Burnet was worth the wait. They sold out around 12:45 p.m., so get there early. Solid Hill Country BBQ.Overall it was a great family weekend: lake views, good fishing, some mountain biking, and plenty of wildlife. Would stay again and would book Graham again in a heartbeat."

"Def needed the unplug night at the lake. The RV was very clean and nice to stay in. We picked this spot because of the play area, kayaks, and fishing. Something for everyone. When we arrived we quickly noticed how infested this property is of spiders. Kids could not play n the truely amazing play ground, despite us trying to clear it, there were just too many spiders already nestled in. The actual property was beautiful and the water was great, the kids were able to swim right off the dock area. Kayaking was something were excited to do but again, the pile of kayaks was covered in webs and large spiders. I think this small issue would really bring this space to the next level. We still really enjoyed our stay and the rv was stocked of dishes. Linens clean. Good space for guys just wanting to fish in peace but for kids I would opt for another space. Owner was so nice and respectful, he let us check in early so it was a big plus! Thank you for the enjoyable weekend. Very peaceful and beautiful!"
