"We had a wonderful visit to the Homestead over Christmas. The front porch with the fire pits with blankets make the perfect spot to drink a glass of wine with the tree lights sparkling in the distance. The food at Jefferson’s was amazing and the manager Matthew and our server Neville made sure our visit was perfect. Rooms were super clean, amenities were great. We went to the shooting club and enjoyed our time there. Thanks to our instructor James for his patience with us as we were all very new to clay shooting.. Start saving now because the activities aren’t cheap but they make the stay even more memorable and fun and I feel we’re worth the money. The spa is amazing with many options. We opted for the body wrap instead of the regular massage and it was very relaxing. Our favorite thing was the visit to the Jefferson Pools in Warm Springs. Also we had dinner at Bacova Beer in Hot Springs and another meal at the Waterwheel Restaurant in Warm Springs and both I would highly recommend. All in all, a really nice place that I can’t wait to visit again! Great job Homestead team! "

"Whimsical Creekside cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our 2 nights stay.The location is very good. You do not see any other cabin or camp from the cabin and so you have complete privacy. The sound of the water flowing by the side of the cabin is so relaxing. There are a lot of board games available in the cabin. There were enough utensils, linens, towels, etc. Microwave was pretty big and the A/C units worked perfectly. Crabtree falls is about 9 miles from the cabin and is a great hiking trail. Blue Ridge Parkway access point is just about 2-3 miles from the cabin and has a lot of overlooks and trails.Overall we had a nice relaxing stay. Thank you Alicia."
