Perfectly centered in the Birch Harbor Village. This five unit building has everything you need for a perfect vacation!

This is unit 2, it is located on the second floor. It's a one bedroom, one bath unit with a queen size bed. The couch can convert into a bed that will sleep one adult or two small size children. It comes equipped with all your essentials, full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, keurig, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, towels, linens, wi-fi, and smart tv.

This building is in the center of Birch Harbor, and sits at the exit of Schoodic Peninsula. The Pickled Wrinkle, Me and Bens Dairy Creme, Mc's Market(town grocery/gas store) and the US Post Office is just across the street. Winter Harbor is only a couple miles up the road with the entrance to the park. Which offers bike trails, hiking trails, and breath taking views of the ocean. Winter Harbor also offers restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the Ferry to Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park is a hour car ride.

Great location, perfect stay

The vacation home was exactly as stated with a great view of a meadow in the back, walking distance to restaurant and food, driving distance to Acadia national Park and Bar Harbor, and impeccably clean

Birch Harbor Village October Getaway

If you want a beautiful getaway that has stunning views, then this is the place. The place was beautifully done and close to Bar Harbor. Absolutely the most beautiful place!

Lovely apartment

This was such a cute, clean place to stay. It was cozy and comfortable. The commute to bar harbor was very easy and the host was so nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

Everything was perfect. Owner has anticipated everything that a guest might want or need. Plus, the unit (2) is so amazingly fresh, modern and CLEAN. And Quiet!! Overlooks a prairie and has convenient store, restaurant, etc. just a few steps away. This is a very special place to stay, and very close to the Acadia National Park Schoodic entrance.

Beautiful Location

Beautiful Location and nice clean space. Owner did a beautiful job decorating and had a few things in the apartment that people commonly forget to pack. Getting to pick our own door access code was a plus.

Best place we have stayed

Best place we have stayed, felt like a "home away from home". Close enough to Bar Harbor to go there, far enough to avoid the traffic and crowds. Place was clean, well stocked, and had a washer and dryer that we could use. Close to Schoodic Point, which we enjoyed as much as Acadia. Danielle was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. We definitely plan on visiting again!

Worry Free Stay

This property was very clean and a centrally located for us between Prospect Harbor and Winter Harbor. Just outside Schoodic Point for sunset and full moon rise viewing. Quiet area overlooking fields. Steps away from store, gas, restaurant and ice cream.

September Getaway

This unit was exceptionally clean with quality amenities. Access to Schoodic Peninsula was fantastic, and the unit was a perfect retreat after exploring Acadia and the surrounding areas. Note: Bar Harbor and ANP is about 1hr drive, Schoodic is less than 5 min. and should not be missed.

Short stay during a wedding

I had a wedding nearby and needed a place to stay while I was in Gouldsboro. This place is great and was very cozy+clean to sleep. Admittedly, I didn’t really spend any time cooking or watching TV, but the pull out couch and bed were both comfy. I also loved the 4 digit passcode to get into the apartment, instead of a key. A great stay, thanks!

Perfect Getaway

We were very happy with our stay here. The unit was well appointed and clean. It was perfect for us and our 8 month old son for our trip to Acadia. It is a little bit of a drive to get to and from the main park but we liked being away from the crowds and knew the driving distance going into it. The owner was very responsive to messages.

Extremely Well Put Together

This was the cleanest place I've stayed in. What really hit me was that you can tell the thought and care that went into the property. Everything from tables and chairs to the bathroom decor was purposefully picked and thought out. Very charming, we were very happy with it.

When we opened the door, my wife congratulated me on picking a great place. Both nights, we ended our excursions early so we could relax here. Everything was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Danielle was so helpful through the whole process.

We will be back!

We were extremely happy with our stay in Birch Harbor. Super clean, nice kitchen, awesome bed - just really, really comfortable. Danielle was excellent with communication prior to our arrival and during our stay. And with Tropical Storm Lee in the forecast, left extra battery lanterns and checked in to make sure all was well. We hope to return with other family members, renting multiple units. And get the fries at Me & Ben’s!

Fantastic place to stay!

My mom and I were in Maine for a long weekend together, and stayed in unit 2. It was such a nice home away from home, cozy and welcoming after a day’s adventures. We found it to be super clean and tastefully decorated. From having fluffy towels to fixings for s’mores to brochures for local sights to see, Danielle had thought of many things that made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks again so much! Great Place!

Can't say enough about our host! We were mixed up on our arrival date and she was super gracious and worked with us on our early arrival. i must say from the outside this apartment doesn't seem like much but the inside is exceptional. Clean, modern, spacious quiet. the location is a perfect base for exploring Acadia, Bar Harbor and all the sites. Nice little grocery across the way. Highly recommend!

Perfect Location

You could not ask for a better VRBO location in the Birch Harbor area. Home is situated at the intersection of a gas station; great local family restaurants and best ice cream in town - and, just a 15 minute walk (8 min bike ride) to Acadia Park loop. Most important, VRBO Host, Danielle, is super kind, helpful and very likable! As first time visitors in the area, we could not have picked a better, cleaner, easy to get to home. We absolutely will return to this prime spot again - perhaps again, before snowfall. Indeed, it was a wonderful 4 day weekend. Certainly worth the 5 hour trip by car! Signed, C & R

Perfect Location

We stayed here as a weekend getaway for my wife's birthday as she loves Schoodic Point and we wanted to stay instead of our usual daytrips. The apartment (No. 2) was very clean and well kept up and we felt at home. It made for the perfect home base for two days of biking and wave watching. The only thing that could have been improved on, is we are not soft bed people, but that is us and NOT the fault of the Host. Pro tip: Blueberry soft serve from Me & Ben's Dairy Creme across the street - small is plenty big. This made for a perfect birthday for my wife and she want to come back already for another stay.

Schoondic is super close which was awesome and although the main attractions of Acadia are about an hour away it was an easy ride with amazing views. Across from a fantastic ice cream place (Me & Ben’s). The place was clean, cozy, safe, and convenient! Would stay here again!
