The hot food at breakfast was cold and there was very little (3 rashers of cold bacon) for later comers. The coffee from a machine was undrinkable. The orange juice was poor. "
"Our stay at Silver Bay Hotel was very disappointing. We had booked a room with two large twin beds but were given one double and one single. The single bed was definitely not sleepable - the mattress was so lumpy you could feel the base beneath it. The double bed was a bit better, but still not comfortable.
The room was far from clean, and the bathroom was poorly designed. The shower caused water to flood the bathroom, and we had to run down to reception for extra towels to try to contain...

"Amazing property very tranquil very little around in the immediate location but for a 20min walk away theres plenty the number 7 bus also takes you too town and only costs 2.50 euros "

"A very special property with private access to a public beach directly from the back garden.Internally, very high standard, particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms. No TV - the host doesn't believe in it. But everyone has laptops / tablets / phones anyway. We did need to watch the Euros Final there and the WiFi is perfectly fine for streaming and also some work Zooms. There was also a strong 5G connection which was pretty fast and a good backup. Aircon works well throughout. The kitchen is a basic galley with coffee machine (bean to cup with a steam wand so you can make a decent coffee and not have to use pods!) and toaster outdoors next to a huge marble table.At the end of the garden is a beautiful seating area with incredible views out to sea, outdoor fridges and other appliances we didn't get to use. The location right on the beach is something really special - the beach gets busy during the day, but is empty early in the morning when it becomes your own private swimming pool.There's a great taverna / bar / ice cream place 30 seconds down the beach & a minimart 10 mins walk.We tended to pop down to the beach 2-3 times a day - swim & chill for a bit and then head back to the house via the outdoor shower. You get to enjoy the beach but you don't have to sit there all day! Artemis, the host, is very welcoming and flexible. She lent our boys a paddle board and also offered to drive us to the supermarket to get provisions as we didn't have a rental."
