We came to Grafton to attend a service at the cathedral church, and the motel was so conveniently located for this. It was quiet, clean, comfortable, and very well located for restaurants and shops.

Excellent stay

Contactless check-in was such a quick and easy process. We booked the downstairs deluxe room so parking was right at our door which we wanted. Simple and easy check-out was also contactless. Excellent place to stay and right over the road from a major shopping centre yet it was a quiet motel.

Definitely and highly recommend

Fabulous renovations. Beautiful good sized room, great bathroom, right opposite shopping centre. Comfy bed. We used the after hours safe to check in with absolutely no problems. Self parking worked out ok for us, maybe not so for others. Overall, right up there with the best we’ve stayed in. Definitely and highly recommend.

Service?

Seems strange that they are still using covid as an excuse to only service the room after 4 nights, I thought it would be fully serviced at the price. Office closes at 12:00 pm on weekends when check in is at 14:00! Room was very clean and bedding was excellent.

We arrived mid afternoon on a Friday and reception was closed. We rang the number on the door, which didn't connect and had to rely on another guest for a mobile number to get access to the key safe. No apology, claimed they didn't have our details to contact us as we'd booked through hotels.com. When reception was manned, staff very helpful. The limited hours of reception seem at odds with a typical motel. Very limited storage space

OK but costly

Like most motels post covid they charge a motza - and have a notice saying that service is reduced because of covid. Should have bought into this industry when the restrictions were first lifted! Accommodation was comfortable and conveniently located with all the usual bits and pieces. WiFi was very poor in our room. Windows hadn't been cleaned for a fair while to the extent that it darkened the room.
