"My wife and I booked a jaccuzi suite for a romantic get away for a few days. Nice room, nice big jaccuzi tub. Everything was great until we tried to fill the tub. There was only enough hot water to fill the tub half full. The only way to get a full tub was to fill it half full (until the hot water ran out), let it sit for 25 - 30 minutes (while the hot water tank heated) and then add more hot to the now warm water in the tub. This process took pretty close to an hour in total. We did this 2 or 3 times a day for the 4 days we were there. We reported the issue to the front desk. I even told them how to fix the problem (turn up the temperature of the hot water tank). While we were out, a repair person went to our room and "checked the hot water from every faucet and they all had hot water, so there wasn't a problem". Obviously the problem wasn't relayed properly from the front desk. There was no attempt to fix the problem after that."

"It is not often that we have found a rental unit with as much attention to detail as this one. High ceiling with expansive windows to give a panoramic view of the ocean that is mere steps from the front deck. Hardwood floors, granite countertops and quality appliances. The Owner very accommodating and attentive to any of our concerns (which were very few). Qualicum Bay is close to Courtenay to the North and Qualicum/Parksville to the South with quality golfing opportunities, cafes, pubs and of course the French Creek fish market. The low tide exposes abundant sandy beach areas for quite walks or scavenging. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again."

"It was our first visit to Denman island and our stay was perfect. Great communication with the host, exceedingly clean cottage, well equipped, super comfortable king size bed, quiet with walks around the property, great wood burning fireplace, wonderful location and with a spectacular view. The added personal touch made it home-like. We couldn't of ask for a better stay."

"The cottage and little enclosed community was lovely but the communication with the host was poor. I did not get a reply back to any messages sent during my stay from the host. The host messaged me that dryer is out of order 2 days before check in and he said not to use it which was inconvenient. The cottage was nice but poor host communication was less than ideal."

"Wonderful Property! Easy check in. Pool was wonderful , as were the hot tubs. We went as a family and this house was perfect for gathering in the open kitchen, dining and living room area. The beach is so close and perfect for paddle boarding. If the tide is out kids can play in the sand. Over all a wonderful stay! Would go back."
