Welcome to our “Talstation” apartment at Eibsee 4 Apartments in Grainau!

If you are looking for a cozy, quiet and centrally located place to stay and prefer to spend your holiday outdoors in the mountains and in nature, you have come to the right place.

The “Talstation” is one of two apartments in our Künstlerhaus and offers you a cozy home for your stay in Grainau on approx. 35 m².

Arrive and feel at home

Our approx. 35 m² “Talstation” apartment offers you a cozy living and sleeping area, a spacious entrance area, a kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower.

The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your stay: stove and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, as well as dishes and kitchen utensils.

This allows you to organize your holiday completely flexibly – enjoy a relaxed breakfast, cook something for yourself after a day in the mountains, dine at one of the numerous restaurants, or end the evening relaxing in your apartment or outside on the terrace.

Our Künstlerhaus – a house with a special character

The Künstlerhaus is located in the historic center of Grainau, first mentioned in 1305 as Gruenawe (green meadow), directly by the lower village square. Today, Grainau is a popular holiday and health resort at the foot of the Zugspitze, without having lost its village character.

In Eibseestraße and its immediate surroundings, numerous historic buildings and traditional forms of Werdenfelser craftsmanship have been preserved.

Our Künstlerhaus also fits into this historic setting with its special character. Even from the outside, the house conveys an impression of its history and original Bavarian character.

The entrance area picks up this special atmosphere and welcomes you with traditional elements and lovingly crafted details.

The house was shaped over many years by the work of a local woodcarver. His artistic heritage can particularly be felt in the historic areas of the house and in the entrance area.

The “Talstation” itself is your cozy and modern holiday home – a place where you can relax after your adventures in the mountains.

Centrally located in Grainau – quiet and surrounded by nature

Our apartment is centrally located in Grainau and at the same time pleasantly quiet. Many things can be reached directly on foot.

The highlights of the region are very close by: Lake Eibsee, Lake Badersee and the Zugspitze can be reached quickly. At the same time, Grainau is the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling and winter sports.

The bus stop is directly in front of the house, so you can also explore the surrounding area conveniently and comfortably without a car.

Another advantage of our location: Garmisch-Partenkirchen is only a few kilometers away and can be reached quickly. There you will find numerous restaurants, cafés, shopping opportunities and leisure activities.

This way, you can enjoy the peace and original character of Grainau while at the same time being very close to the diverse range of opportunities in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Between Lake Eibsee and the Zugspitze

A defining feature of our location is its proximity to Lake Eibsee. The crystal-clear lake, the wooded shores and the impressive mountain panorama make it a special destination in the region.

Just a few kilometers away rises the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain.

Whether hiking, mountaineering, cycling, skiing or simply enjoying nature – the area around Grainau offers numerous opportunities in every season.

Practical for your stay

A ski and bicycle storage room is available for your ski and cycling equipment.

A free outdoor parking space is available. If you prefer to park your vehicle in a protected space, you can also rent a garage from us for an additional fee.

If you are traveling with a baby or toddler, we are happy to provide you with a baby cot and high chair free of charge upon request.

Your four-legged companions are also welcome upon request and for an additional fee. Please contact us briefly before booking if you would like to bring your pet.

For us, a holiday apartment is more than just a beautiful place to stay. We want to be personal hosts and give you the feeling of being welcome with us.

At the same time, your independence is important to us. With our online self-check-in and key safe, you can arrive flexibly and easily – regardless of a fixed arrival time.

You will receive the information about check-in, arrival and access in good time before your arrival.

And even though you arrive independently, we are available to you throughout your entire stay.
