After checking in, my son and I went to get something to eat and when we returned another guest informed us he had walked into our room accidentally. The door did not lock and could not lock. We were moved to another room and the key/lock worked. Until we had to run an errand. When we returned, the key would not open the door and couldn't, even after being recoded. The staff had to use an emergency key. All this can be understood, except the staff questioned me about having gone somewhere and then returned a d tried to open the door. These are not guest issues. A working door is not a luxury item at a hotel and with no apology to speak of, I was made to feel the issue was mine. I don't ask for much from a $75 hotel room, but I expect a working door and a staff to own rhe problems in their facitly without tryi g to deflect the issue onto the customer.

Room smelled like smoke, feces in the hallway, drug paraphernalia in stairwell, no elevator to second floor. Did not stay. Property was not liveable.

Me and my Husband stayed here for the weekend and the first night was good but the next day was terrible the Ac unit was off the wall wouldn’t work, then it started leaking EVERYWHERE! it got all over my daughters bed and under my dogs cage. I went down stairs with my Daughter and My dog and told them about the Ac unit and all that the front desk lady told me “what do you expect us to do” this is absolutely ridiculous poor management is what all I can say! I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel

Nastiest Hotel Ever!

Stephenville is a great little town; however, Rodeway has not been making sure this hotel is being serviced properly. The only positive thing I can say is that I didn't die there.

Place is decent for the price. Its old but clean overall. Pillows are the cheapest that exist they are plastic. But bed was comfortable. Bathroom tub needed painting but good for the price

The inside was aged but clean. Beds a little firm.No working vending machines or breakfast. The outside can use alot of improvement.The old pool filled in with dirt was full of weeds and very unsightly right outside our window. I would suggest at least resurfacing the area and mayby putting a couple of tables and chairs out there.Anyting would be better than whats there.

The convenience of being around everything in town was nice but the room we were in the bathroom light flickered really bad and with my wife’s epilepsy it made it to where we couldn’t use the bathroom light at all.

It was ok. I picked this hotel because it was close to the college. Check in was easy the staff was friendly. The first room they sent is to was still dirty so they had to give us another room and that room was ok. The tv in that room however had to be reset by the staff. Also there is not a pool like the pictures show but we did not care

It was was easy access and available for a fair price however was not pleased with the cleanliness of the facility or the room. There were crickets alive and dead everywhere in the room and hallways. There’s no pool as advertised. There’s no breakfast as advertised. Will choose another facility next time.

well , it looked like someone had sat on one of the beds and i refused to sleep on it. woman at desk asked me if i mined changing the sheets because i did not want to move up stairs. so i did. you are to have ability to stay there till 11 but woman was there to clean room before 9 . so make sure you stick out you sign on door. The room was clean. . tv remote need to be replaced.. other than that it was okay.. I do think there should be some kind of heat in the bathroon on cool morning.

The property looked good in Expedia, Expedia is only the middle entity so nothing on Expedia but this property. As soon as we came in to the hallway is was dirty and unkept. When we open our room is smelled like an old home. Roaches were crawling around the dresser drawers and floor. I booked this room for three days but I asked for refund after first night. Expedia was very helpful and returned my money within days. Do not stay in this hotel only to save money, your health means more than money.

Well to being with it says smoke free but yet it smelt like pure weed the entire time I was there then the room was nasty the first room they put us in the bed was broken and the heater didn't work so they switched us rooms then it was even more dirty it also had no shower curtain and only 1 pillow in it just over all nasty and disgusting will never go back

Didn't like anything about it! One of the worst motels I have stayed in. The card key did not work on the exterior door! The bathroom sink was about to fall off the wall, only the pipes were holding it up. Said breakfast was included but none that I saw. Room numbers were not easily visible from the outside. Sound proofing was terrible from both hallway noise, adjacent room noise and road noise

I do recomment this place for anyone. From the large number of stains everywhere with in the hotel to mold in the room. I went and bought pillow covers, towels, and cleaner just to stay the two nights there. The a/c unit made the room so moist mold was on the chairs. There was water stains or just completely uncleaned floor which ensure the wearing of socks no matter what. There is no dining or pool. There is no service. I asked for another pillow, I was given a pillow case filled with sheets. The room had a Las Vegas porn setup with a large soaking tub 5 feet from the bed. The trash, food, and uncleaned area around the hotel is another sign this place should be burned down. Please do not list this place on here again! I wish I could post the pictures I took. SO SAD!!!

Would not advise to stay!!!

Upon checking in, we were given a key to a room that was not cleaned. Towels were still on the floor and the bed definitely used by someone prior. We received a second key to another room and when we walked in it had a definite aroma of smoke and body odor. When we started to take a bath, there were only two towels for the four of us. There was one pillow on the each bed that was so thin you could almost see through. I returned to the front desk and asked for more pillows, and was informed that they weren’t sure they had any. Finally after waiting over 10 minutes, I was given two pillows that were lumpy and rock hard. My daughter went to the front to get more towels and the wash rags that we were given were stained and nasty. I felt that the room should have been cleaned better overall. Also, the pool is filled in with dirt and there are weeds growing on the dirt. Walking down the hall l, the carpet is stained and has not been cleaned. Overall this was the worst!!

The staff member who checked us in did not greet us despite there being no one else in the lobby and she was on a call on what I assume is her personal phone. The hotel is grimy and many room doors had holes at the top or bottom (as if the door was not properly fitted to the frame). I almost gagged when I stepped into our room as I was hit with what I can only describe as moldy milk smell that did not go away at all during our stay, it was so bad I had to buy air fresheners from Walmart just to stay in the room. The bathroom sink had several brown stains and the windows are obviously not cleaned very often as I found where someone else had written “Gross” on it. Would not recommend unless you are desperate.
