"Bright, clean, peaceful home steps from beach. All was as described in listing- what I’d add: Comfortable beds and linens, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure in showers. Area felt very safe. Our favorite meal was pirates pizza and wings. "

"Let me first start by saying that this was a great location and beautiful home. The time spent here was great. The reason for the bad review was for several reasons.The house was not cleaned - soiled linens, dirty dishes, trash, etc. It was obvious people had stayed here prior to our arrival and it had not been cleaned. We contacted the owner and he was very polite and said he misunderstood when our group was arriving and apologized for not having it clean. He told us where we could find clean bed linens and assured us a cleaning crew would be arriving the following morning around 10:30 AM to clean the house. He also said that he would give us that night for free (we reserved two nights) since he didn’t hold up to his end of the agreement. We made plans to be out of the house so they could clean the next day. No one came. The house was never cleaned and every text, phone call, voicemail, and Vrbo message remained unanswered by the owner. We were afraid something may have happened, as life does, and gave him the benefit of the doubt as to why he had not responded to our efforts to reach him. When all efforts failed and two weeks passed, I contacted VRBO. They said that he never submitted any kind of refund for us and since nothing was in writing, they encouraged us to leave a negative review.It really is unfortunate because had this place been cleaned and the owner made good on his word, we would have given it a 10/10."

"We booked this location for a fishing weekend for my husband and four sons. It was a plus that the beach was only 15 minutes away. Check in was super simple and the property was AMAZING! The kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen with everything you can think of needing. The beds were comfortable, the views were amazing, and the amenities were perfect. The pool was cold in March, but my boys did not mind at all. The laundry room had so many pool toys and floats to play with. There was a basketball goal, footballs, baby swings on the porch and dock, games for the family, books to read, and tvs in every room. The outdoor space was our favorite! The peer was long and stunning. The water was crystal clear. The boys swam and fished. Crab cages were ready for us to us, and we caught some. My guys and me had an amazing weekend! Dauphin Island was 15 minutes away, which we enjoyed two of the four days. Walmart delivery was quick, and local seafood was great. I had to message the owners a couple times about minor things. Theybwere super quick to respond and very nice. Love this property! Can not wait to go back."

"Had a nice few days at this property. John Michael was VERY responsive to all messages.The camper is located in a lovely quiet campground with a pool.There is a Dollar General..Greers Market one street over. Depending on traffic it's about a 15 min drive to Dauphin Island. They are doing bridge work so with that a bit longer.Jemisons bait and tackle towards the island has great crawfish on Saturday's Would book again"
