The Grand Hotel was pleasant enough but the restaurant was middling at best and pricey given the fare offered. Recommend eating at the restaurant at El Tavor Lodge in the NP but you will need to get reservations. The Grand Hotel not our first choice but the NPS hotel was fully booked.

Great breakfast , lobby uniquely decorated.Fresh towels daily . Local musician playing in restaurant in the evening was very enjoyable Bus can pick you up/drop off right in front and take you right into Grand Canyon National Park.
