  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night. Perfect getaway!

Came here for our vacation for a few nights. House was easy to find. Right on the beach and exactly what we wanted for our vacation. House was clean when we arrived, things were easy to find and beds were comfortable (which is a super plus). We did have trouble locking the door when we wanted to leave but they were very quick to respond to our text to help us figure it out. We loved to just sit on the patio and listen to the waves at night or watch the beach during the day when we weren’t down by the water. This house is definitely at the top of our list for when we come back next year.

Such a great stay! The beautiful deck was so enjoyable to sit on over looking The Gulf of America!! This stay was clean and comfortable with everything you need and where new family memories were made. :)

The house was clean and in a great area. We are bird watchers and really enjoyed the area for bird watching. The porch was very comfortable and view of the water excellent.

A beautiful beach house

This is my second stay at this property. I appreciate everything about the house. The deck is spectacular. The decor is beautiful, the bedding and the towels feel like clouds. They are so soft and luxurious. I will definitely be back.

Overall property and location is perfect. Everything we needed was there for our use. (One suggestion: a lift for all the gear we had to haul upstairs sure would be nice, we're getting old you know.)

Love the camp's location and it's outdoor set up. Perfect for beach goers. Inside is very nice. 3 bedrms and 3 bath rms. Only issues: Stove burners are not good. Dishwasher is very difficult to start.

Great Family Stay

We gathered with our three grown children, spouses and 4 grandchildren. Camp was very clean and well kept. Kitchen was well equipped. The large back deck made it great to hang out. Walk to beach was a snap. Definitely recommend it.
