"Our stay was fantastic! The cottage was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and beautiful with stunning water views—we saw seals and porpoises almost every day right from the property, and even spotted a whale on our final morning!The yard was great for our family: the kids loved the swings and hammock, and there was plenty of open space for us to toss a football around. Evenings were spent around the fire pit or relaxing in the screened-in deck. During the day, we enjoyed local highlights like the lighthouse, Roosevelt Campobello International Park, and scenic forest trails. Plus, the selection of indoor games kept us entertained.Note for larger groups: There is only one bathroom, so plan accordingly, but it worked fine for us.The Starfish Cottage made our trip to the island truly special—a wonderful place to stay!"

Campobello Island Vocational Retreats & Cottage Living

"We rented the cottage for 16 days in July.Magdalen and Peter were wonderful hosts and lovely people.The cottage is very clean with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need and more. There are breathtaking views of the Bay of Fundy and a private beach for hunting seaglass. We enjoyed sitting on porch and watching the boats sail by. All in all a great vacation. Thank you Magdalen and Peter!"
Otter Cove Cottage, completely renovated house on Campobello

"Excellent location for touring the island, and not too close to the ferry traffic and tourist-y spots. We enjoyed the view from the deck and a bit of beach-combing right in our yard. The house has just about everything a visitor could want, made all the nicer by a very friendly, helpful host. Definitely recommend!"

"Peaceful and well kept property in a scenic location. Communication was perfect. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay - four big comfy beds and lots of little extras. The hosts obviously care about their guests. Highly recommend this getaway."
Enjoy quiet, country living at Fisherman's Rest

"Great little place! Very peaceful and quite, a little off the beaten path. Full on cottage feel, that has all the basics, including very good internet. Very easy to contact the host, who was quick to respond to any query. Not super fancy, but that is reflected in the price. The tap water is safe to drink, however we chose to bring bottled water for coffee and drinking. From the house, it is a 20 minute drive to New River Beach, an amazing huge beach that is surprisingly quiet. Also just a couple minutes from the (free) Deer Island ferry. If you plan on booking a whale watching trip, Full Tide Ocean Safaris on Deer Island is the place to go (which we discovered along with a recommendation note in the package of tourist materials that was provided by the host). My wife and I spent 3 nights here and we are already trying to figure the logistics if we can bring our 2 teens and stay longer next year."

"This is a nice apartment that is spacious and has a lovely deck for beautiful sunsets. Booked on Expedia which listed this as a 2 bedroom, but was only one bedroom. But had sleeper sofa so my husband and I were able to sleep there while my mom stayed in the one bedroom. Other than confusion about bedrooms, it was a lovely stay!!"
