"We rented this house and arrived after driving for 9 hours to find it had been condemned. We were in contact with the owner on our way there who didn’t bother to tell us it had been condemned the week before. We called him when we got there and he didn’t answer the call forcing us to contact VRBO to get a refund. He left our family of 8 scrambling to find another place to stay for our 8 day vacation costing us an additional 500 out of pocket not to mention the hassle and stress. I do not recommend anyone book this property. The owner should be ashamed of himself. "

"Fabulous view of the Grand Haven State Park. Can be fun to watch all the craziness of the parking lot and beach while enjoying the view with a cocktail. The house has ample seating areas. It's definitely not a modern house (1921) so that means it can be tight in spots but has more character. The two bathrooms are a drawback but not a dealbreaker. Kitchen is well stocked to cook at home, which we did to avoid crowded restaurants. Can walk to the pier or town, and the beach is about 100 yards, so don't really have to drive much. Our group of 10 enjoyed it."
