Grandma's House: Experience tranquility near Jordan Lake.

  • AVAILABLE NOW- finished remodeled basement. Additional queen bed, queen fold-out sofa and sitting area, full bath, and kitchenette. Has a separate entry with parking as well as stairs from the main floor. An additional $125 per night as an add-on option. The basement is not handicap as the first floor is. The basement will not be rented separately it is only available and an add-on to the main house if needed.

    Grandma's House is far enough in the country to offer peacefulness, comfort, and a great place to relax, while being close enough to the city for all the shopping, dining and work-related activities. Enjoy the best of both worlds. Located in Moncure, which is the center of NC, this house is just 30 minutes from Raleigh, Chapel Hill, or Sanford. It is 50 minutes from Southern Pines, Greensboro or Fayetteville. Just 3 miles from Jordan Dam, there are multiple boat ramps just a short drive away. RALEIGH EXEC JETPORT is just 12 minutes away. Wedding venues are popular, with several being close by. The owners are very detail oriented and tried to think of everything you would need while providing this beautiful, clean and tranquil home away from home.

    The house has been remodeled and most everything is brand new. It is kept very clean and offers open, bright and airy space., both indoors and out. Lots of added benefits such as Starlink WiFi, Designated Office, Whole House Water softener, and Whole House generator.

    This property is within minutes of both The Bradford and the Shady Wagon Farm wedding venues. And be sure to reserve your space at the Carolina Tiger Rescue , just six miles from Grandma’s House. Also most guests love visiting downtown Pittsboro while here for a glimpse back at the old small town feel and atmosphere. Also, minutes from Jordan Lake Boat access.

We enjoyed our stay. This home is spacious and comfortable (especially the beds). It had everything we needed. The house is right on the main road (although it is set back from the street). The road noise wasn’t too bad, but it was there.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay for a last minute weekend getaway. The house is wonderful. Really appreciated the craftsmanship of the house. Everything we needed and things we didn't think we needed were there. It was nice to already have their crate for our dog so we didn't have to set up our broken travel one we usually use. Good location out in the country but able to take some 10 - 20 minute day trips.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area! We booked at the last minute to escape Hurricane Milton. Thank you for letting us stay here! It was very relaxing in a very stressful time for us. We loved exploring Lake Jordan with our dog Tanner. An added bonus- it was close to Raleigh where our daughters live and work! A special mention to all the dog friendly amenities to make our Tanner feel welcome at your home (treat, bowls, crate, toys, etc). Thank you!

NC Fishing trip

From the moment we arrived at “Grandma’s House” we felt at home. Such a beautiful home, great attention to detail. The owners go above and beyond with so many extras ….from bathroom necessities to snacks in the kitchen this place is a gem! We will definitely book again ! High quality fit and finish through-out and clean like new. Would definitely use again. Much more spacious than pictures make it appear. Appears close to road but sets back very far and there is no traffic you can hear. Entrance is from rear making it feel secluded. We had 4 adults 40 to 70 and 4 boys 5 to 14 and never dealt cramped Alson had a labradoodle but were no odors of pets. Great place!

Club New Knee

I needed a place to stay with friends post op a total knee replacement...all one level, walk in shower, and dog friendly. ( Most important factor! ) We hit the jackpot! What a great place just to unwind and recover! The place worked out great including a ramp to access the back door through the carport. Lots of room to sit outside and hang with the head nurse Golden Retriever Ray. We had great access to doctors, supplies, hospital in Holly Springs..and loads of outdoors to explore. The Manager was super, helping us with anything we needed. I am glad we checked the place out...when it is time to have some guests in town for some real fun, we will definitely consider this cool spot again!
